Awesome! Going to give this a try! A quick tip to return the favour, if you fold your plastic over the paste and use a roller you will get a even layer with less mess than the card/spatula method
That's a great idea!
It's hilarious when the shrimp run off with the food 🤣 great video thanks for the recipe!
Yea greedy shrimps always want steal a piece to run away😂 Thanks for watching!
My amano is an expert in parkour and will backflip to the food and be gone with a pellet before you can blink.
At least in the US, organic certified greens can still have pesticides applied that are dangerous for shrimp (like copper). So be sure they're labelled as "fully washed" or give them a good wash before drying.
Great info, thanks for the tip!
That sounds great, I would like to give a try, thanks for sharing.
Awesome DIY Shrimp food method there man! Loved it! 👌
Glad you liked it!! Thanks for watching!
I started DIY food few years back, learned a lot from mark and soo. With time it got me to specific formulations based on objective feeding like growth, vitality, digestive aid, molting aid. Using only ingredients like spirulina, Chlorela, blood worms ... I have a list of those... without any additives, i was able to analyze it and get exact proportions of elements. However i preferred to keep it powder form for several reasons, mainly to be able to micro dose, and to be able to use it as supplements when necessary on top of regular shrimp food, and many other reasons...
Sounds great, thanks for the info👍

good evening shrimp mania you always have the best most informative videos I enjoy them very much. going to try doing this . have you ever use tried using duckweed mixed with other things! I have a endless supply of duckweed LOL
So nice of you, thank you Alan for your support! You supporting me for quite some tome and it motivates me to make more content like this! I don't have much of the duckweed but I think its good idea to use it for making diy food for shrimp!
You can also buy organic powder greens online. I get alfalfa, spirulina, and kelp. There is also barley green powder and mix greens.
Ammazing thanks
oh it was amusing to see that one shrimp try to drag the food away
I'll try your recipe sometime!
Please do!
Nice
Pesto for shrimp! No wonder they love it 🙂
There is a big grey area with organic. If you grow yourself then you know exactly what you have
I made food with boiled chickenliver, stinging nettle, spirulina, gelatine to bind it all together and put it in the fridge. The shrimps went crazy for it.
sounds good!
Another great video! Some nice looking shrimp too, there was a nice black one with a greenish stripe down its back, is that a pinto / blue bolt cross?
@8.08
Yes that shrimp is looking cool! It came from mixed tank so that's why I like to mix my shrimp it full of surprises. I think it's just good grade pinto shrimp
❤
Spirulina is a natural source of several minerals including copper, copper can be toxic for shrimp? Isn't?
I'm just gonna blend my duckweed into shrimp food instead of throwing it away
Hi, can I know how you store the paste since you made a lot of it 4:49
Cant you just use the powder form to feed them?
Hi, my shrimp almost never eat the added food (they eat the food in the tank), is this normal?
Thanks for the video and the advice.
Yes if you don't have many shrimps in the tank they have enough natural food around and they might don't eat the food you give to them
What type are the red and white ones in this video, i have similar?
Can you add timestamp?
Another great content mate, how do i get in touch ? i live in west London
Thank you mate, here of facebook
mironekuton ? How do u use it ? Does it change PH of Water or change waterparameters ? And which shrimp tanks do u add it to ? Do u add mironekuton straight into tank or only in shrimp food ?
Keep up the good Word 👍🏻 greetings from Denmark
You can add it directly into the tank, small amount once a week. You can also add it into the food like I did in this video
Do u see any change in pH after u add mironekuton ?
I haven't noticed any changes in pH if be honest after I add mironekuton powder
Cool, is there more different Minerals in mironekuton than salty shrimp gh+ ? Im abit confused about Minerals, gh, and effect on PH 😅
@@nilskoch5098 mironekuton is just supplement minerals for shrimps and bacteria in the tank. Salty shrimp Gh+ are Ca and Mg salts to remineralise ro water prior water change to create ideal general hardness of the water to mimic the water for shrimps in nature
just wash them with water, stop wasting money with "organic"
