The beautiful way your mum and you Kate just describe the simple things you find whether it a amazing thing or something that you both can turn beautiful is so lovely it so sweet to hear the appreciation in all things .i feel the same way about things I wish I could go to the places you go,to with you the dump those beaches I am 56 and my dream is to mudlark ,I have seen many mudlarkers but I would want to experience it with myou and your mum and even Oscar he is so sweet .you have the family love and togetherness I never had .and it makes my heart feel and soul full of happiness to see that.Imlost my 2 siblings mother. And father it a blessing. To see a lovely family. Like yours .how old are you Kate and your brother not being nosy .you just remind me of my granddaughter and I was curious .i live in America my dream is to visit the uk if I get well enough and experience the wonder and happiness like you and Kate do is a gift both you have your so lovely and smart and kind sorry to go on like this but I don’t have anyone that cares enough to listen about the dream I have .they think it’s dumb so I will stop talking now lol.bless you and your family and I hope you find all you dreams where ever you lark.shellby smitn

It's amazing how the simple things bring so much joy. I was just out side watching a very bright firefly and thought of the CREATOR so powerful creating the vastness of our universe and everything in it. So marvelous. Out of all the bugs HE made HE made one that lights up.

I’m laughing you won’t take that white jar lid, which is heavy made of glass but you’ll take that poor little dolls head that’s all broken up. Gotta love you.

Right before the glass stopper and the seashell button was a sand fossil looking thing to the left. I can’t believe you guys didn’t see it. Oh man anyway I don’t think it was a freshman. I think it was a fossilized one. It was beautiful. I hope you really found it.
Oh yes I was HOPING some1 else saw that!! It was BEAUTIFUL looking at 3:53. I don't have a clue what it was, but it looked like a handmade carved flower on a lid or something. If it was a fossil..WOW I kept hoping she would reach for it next!! ( top left corner.. dark gray color) I thought SURELY she would see it. After that I kept HOPING Fleur would see it and get it. Wonder if it would still be there if they went back?? It looked like it would be an AMAZING FIND. So COOL Looking I kept thinking about it til the very end wanting them to surprise us with it in the round up. Kate if you read this and go back and see it in the film, PLEASE tell us what it is, IF you know?????

I get so excited seeing you pop up for a lark of "I spy" lol...Just love thise little goobies when you find them.I like to imagiine children on the beach long ago on a family picnic,playing with their lead toys and dolls and such.You bring the past to life so beautifully.Thanks for the happiness!😊

Well id have been thrilled as you Fleur, at finding the pot lid and then finding it actually😮 fitted a pot you had at home. Yes that would please me no end.
There were some lovely little finds on this lark. I think i find the little treasures more pleasing to find. Plus it saves luggkng home a pile of heavy gear, which then has to be stored somewhere. You soon run out of space.

Oh and the flag Alex, was an unusual find. I cant say ive ever seen one like it before. Xx

I think the gobie dice look like they may be made of sodalite or lapis lazuli! Very cool! And Flo I truly feel the little girl that lost that pot lid to her pot wanted to give back to you! Now your pot is put back together. Maybe you had found one of her baby doll head and brought her back to be played with again by building her body again. 😊 it’s not everyday some one can did in dirt and happen to just find the right lid to such a old little pot made from lead. Especially a pot you had already had. 😊❤

Beautiful finds! I would get in so much trouble as a mudlarker, I would be bringing so many things home and cluttering up an already eclectically cluttered home, plus every bone I find would be coming home with me lol XD

Re the folding lead lump with the writing on, I think the Romans used to write prayers to their Gods on lead, and fold them over. I've definitely seen it on a programme somewhere. 👍
Hi they Kate and mum. When you both at the beach. Where both of you stood. Next to Kate as she wax putting small things in her pocket on in the sand was another doll house pan lid. Very shiny. Thought mum would have seen it.

My favorite of your finds are those 2 blue cubes- I'm not sure what you called them ? I thought they were dice ? i also loved that little doll house pot- and that stove ! So cute !!!! and that pyramid ink bottle - although that from your collection -- Those were my favorite pieces today. I have a question…is it dangerous to handle lead like you do? I am legitimately curious. I know that old lead paint is very harmful, and that lead poisoning is a thing. I believe that y’all take all of the lead you find off of the beach because it is harmful to the environment. Just wondering if you touching it like you do, and rubbing it could be harmful to you? Want y’all to stay safe! ❤
Not dangerous otherwise all the fishermen would be dead. Just wash your hands before you put them anywhere near your mouth. Even then it would take prolonged exposure to have a serious effect.
