Eban doesn't get enough respect for keeping the flow of this show going. Mike found the perfect partner in crime.

Aswell as being a dual athlete and one of the fastest NFL receivers ever to play the game , can we all just appreciate how well Willie has looked after himself physically, goddamn best looking 60 year old I ever saw.. Inspiration..

Mike Tyson is proof that you can better your life
@Jooj ohhhhh man
Not that inspirational, he had $400 million, all you have to do is start being nice to people. It's like saying hey, just to out there and be the best in the world at something, you can do it kid.

@@JRRepair fax...the comment section in youtube is infectious and many of us fall into that shit despite our usual reasonable nature..im especially prone to typing comments which i will later delete when im in the comment sections in the morning lol..it should be noted that there are different levels of toxicity and mikes channel does pretty good in the comments section because himself is not toxic. its much worse generally ..lets cultivate true strengh of character
Can't believe Willie Gault knowing every bodies numbers very impressed he must stay close to the field. Great to hear this podcast.
One of the only guest to consistently make eye contact with Mike Tyson and not the co-host
Living in chicago in the 80s-90s loving sports remain one of the greatest times of my life 💪🏼👍🏼 this show taking me back
Amazed at how sharp Mikes brain is, his memory recall is amazing, remembering all those past NFL players and what they were doing back in that time. Awesome.

Used to see him all the time when I lived in Calabasas. Would run into him at the commons and my daughter's school. REALLY NICE PERSON. I loved talking to him. He's a legend.
The amount a young man can learn from watching these interviews is immense. I just want to be the best successful man i can be. Learning from others

Mike, your personal transformation means more to me than you can imagine. Watching your recent PPV, the most fulfilling part was the humility with which you received the decision. In the arc of the human journey away from the animal and toward the spirit, your continued evolution towards peace gives me hope. Thank you for that-each one teach one. We all have cracks, but that’s how the light gets in. ONE LOVE!
Very well said. 🙏

His name even sounds fast. Fast Willie Gault
Hey ain’t it funny how these Professional sport athletes give better advice on how to live than our politicians and leaders of our country. Right
100%
It should be pretty clear to people what politicians are and what government is. Not sure how much more evidence people need to see, before they finally realize, "what" these politicians and government are, and stop projecting what they want or wish them to be.
Politicians are actors. They are criminals masquerading as a human rights advocates, and politics is the theater in which they try to convince you that government is a human rights organization.
@@Doughboy1027 True spill I been saying that forever politicians are actors
Nothing good or authentic about them they just know how to speak well and manipulate
Put your mask on and shut up😠
yeah and theres a lot of politicians makin sure yall got food stamps, police, firetrucks, emptying your trash cans, free medical, dental, etc, etc... so thats a kind of dumb thing to say... there are good and bad folks in everything. but nowadays people focus on the bad
It's evident that Willie Gault is still passionate about his craft. Much respect.
I loved your fight Mike Tyson you both were legends out there❤🇨🇦
Willie is SO intelligent

It was a draw out of respect. However, statistically Tyson won by a lot.lol. If you watched the fight it isnt even a despute. He dominated.
@@BNOOutdoors sure did tyson dominated not just any but another great u could see the fear in jones jr eyes to come up against a god

Proud of ur last fight uncle mike first time ever getting to watch u live truly the goat 🐐 🥊
He showed excellent fundamentals and techniques. Lol hes the best inside fighter of all time. In his prime he was a complete and perfect in fighter. He was able to deal with anyone. Tall guys would try to stay outside and jab, but tyson would move his head and counter with his own pinpoint jabs and force his opponent to stay moving and hed just outjab guys and outmaneuver them for 12 rounds. Short guys would just get crushed quick cause they had to bring it or get rolled over even quicker. Mike in his prime was phenomenal and the only perfect in fighter ever.
They had an announcement made before that the fight with Roy Jones jr. Explaining how its gonna be a draw & they want to raise momey. honestly i cant belive that i was allowed to bet big that it would end with a draw...
@@mikimiyazaki tyson only had 3, 12 round wins my boy. Tyson was a brutal puncher but far from a pure boxer.
@@elusivejugmaster43 you dont have the slightest idea that infighting is the exact same exact opposite ie mirror image, "yin yan" as boxing on the outside do you? Every movement he made was systematic and trained into him from day one. His actions and reactions were specifically trained. Boxing outside requires footwork designed to be just out of range so as to allow the opponent to miss then get countered by coming in that half step. Inside fighting is every bit as technical and is all about fundamentals (its common sense really even if you arent a trained boxer. Why would fighting outside be about being skillful but the opposite not be the same?) Infighting requires proper headmovement, footwork designed to cut the ring off and get inside. The bob n weave which looks like a U and the slip which looks like / or \ is how in fighters are trained. I can go off and describe exactly what the fundamentals of in and outfighting are, how theyre mirror images of each other (one would need to understand in fighting to be effective against it vise versa and if you know one then you know the other). I never really realized what i was truly looking at when i watched boxing until i was trained by a legit former amateur and pro. Mike was a textbook inside fighter and everything he did was precise and technical. Thats just a fact. Ya he was a brutal puncher but the reason why he didnt get hit (in his prime, im talking before he stopped training year round and well before buster) was because he was a perfect boxer. He made you miss with headmovement then made you pay. He never just ran in head first and punched lol he came in behind the jab, headmovement, foot work and let his hands go.
@@mikimiyazaki explain why tyson is not in anyone's top 20 pound for pound list ? I'll wait..
Willie Gault is a fantastic Guy. He has so much wisdom he was sharing.
The great Willie Gault!
Now THIS is the show we want back! Please Mike, bring Eben back!
Gault has a great attitude. But I am very impressed by his age-group running records.
Man imagine if Mike was able to interview his Late Great friend 2Pac. The amount of knowledge the 2 goats would spit would be insane.
Being an Raiders fan, I love learning these incredible things about the athletes I’m a fan of. There’s a reason guys like Willie Gault make it to the pros and become one of the best at it. I can listen to this episode again and again. It inspires me.
Other than Jim McMahon, Willie Gault was my favorite Chicago Bear growing up in Chicago. To listen to this man talk, my admiration for him is even greater. Very intelligent, very thoughtful and insightful. A very bright, smart, well rounded man. He was ahead of his time as a "Renaissance Man" before it was fashionable.
Great show. I love Mike and was impressed with WIllie. Genuine guy, very charismatic
i love the old and new mike, he will always be the greatest fighter the world has ever seen, its such a privilege to have him alive here with us, god bless

He always had a wonderful heart. Go watch his old fights. After knocking someone out cold, he'd help them back up to their feet and hug them. Sure, he had his moments, but it's a brutal sport full of adrenaline where crazy things happen. Overall, he's always been a good dude.
I didn’t know this guest but after watching this episode I really enjoyed him. A very humble smart guy. He played in the NFL back in the 80s. I watched the NFL I didn’t know him. Another great show. Keep up the great work.

Go Bears!!!! Rip Walter Payton.... Mike Tyson Much Love
I respect Mike more for his mind and heart and the person he has become more than I respect his boxing skills. Mike has turned into a great person and an inspiration, it’s no longer about what a badass he is, now he is a great mind and awesome personality. What he did in his personal life as far as growing as a person is far more impressive than his boxing skills. Especially where he came from and what he was taught about emotions and survival. This is a guy that proves people are not part of their environment. Thank you Mike you give people hope that there is more to life than labels.
Quality time with mike Tyson, I’m here for it
