Loved the video and I've been worried about Jet as he hasn't been in any recent videos. I work with dog rescue so do NOT give up. Plaster your area with his pics and keep an eye on Facebook lost and found sites. I hope he was microchipped as they help get so many lost dogs home BUT I've seen many many many returned to owners sometimes years later so do NOT give up. Just keep the word out. Make sure your new dogs are microchipped. They are both beautiful and I'm going to pray Jet is found! Enjoying your home building journey!

Nice job! I got my beds for my shepherds from K9 Ballistics and they've held up perfectly for almost 6 years. Believe you me, they know how to chew. K9 offers orthopedic which are great for the hips and my kids really seem to like the bolsters. The covers are waterproof and are washable. Not hot either. Just a tip.

Microchip them. Any dog. Common sense dude.
If you ever have another got get out like that leave some of your dirty clothes outside so they can pick up on your scent. Dogs that wander off will be able to track themselves back home. Your scent from your clothes will travel over a mile or two.
The clothes have to be dirty clothes i.e. clothes you have worn all day, whether its cologne and grease, oil and woodworking smell etc. Leave the clothes outside preferably on a table or hanging. The wind/breeze will carry your scent and dog/dogs will more than likely hang around your clothes or close by when you are looking for them.
Whatever you do dont put out clean clothes as that wont do anything.
When I lived in the rural country I used to do everything I mentioned above. I also used to setup scarecrow or two with hay and stuff a pair of my work Jeans, shirt with the hey. My dog used to stay close by and if he went off scavenging he was able to find his way home.
Dogs remember there owners scent. I dont know what the Huskies sensory's are, but I do know German shepherd and Malinois have 30,000 sensory. Labs, Retrievers have a high sensory as well.
I woul eventually build a outside dog park for your dogs to run and play in.
Also, Microchip your dog and make sure your Veterinarian has the Microchip ID # on file. If your dog is picked up by someone or animal control and taken to any Veterinary hospital or animal control shelter they will be able to scan the Microchip and it will have your Veterinarian on file as well as the dogs name and home address.
You should also go to any and every Veterinary hospital, animal shelter nearby with a flyer that has the dogs name, home address, owners name and phone numbers. Leave flyers.
Ask neighbors.
Put a good collar or harness on them with ID tags that have the dogs name. Owners address, telephone numbers, etc.
