Very nice work!
SOO COOL
Absolutely gorgeous!!
Pls do a tutorial on how to seal the image with epoxy on a tumbler! NOBODY has one that I can find! Yours looks amazing
You might not have found one yet cause it’s not safe for acrylic tumblers
@@mistyscott8187 really? Huh I did not know that!
@@mistyscott8187 is it not food safe? Can we use brite tone instead?
Um she specifically states it’s on a spinner with one coat of epoxy
Thank you for sharing your cups, and showing everything they are really beautiful.💜💜
Love how these turned out!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks!
They’re beautiful!!!!
Thanks!
This idea is absolutely awesome
I love these ! Thanks for the tutorial ! 😍
I love them all
WoW, super cool!
These are soooo cool! Thanks for sharing the technique!
Thanks!
So pretty I love it‼️‼️‼️‼️❤
New follower! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to watching more of your beautiful creations❤
beautiful work!!! Love these!!! I wish I would have watched your video before I made my cup!
gorgeous
Aww, so cute! Happy spooky season.
Thanks! I ❤ spooky season 🎃
Thank you so much
Fantastic job on these! I have seen a few and the inside liquid is either not enough poured in the cup or they weren't thick enough. I love how yours was just rite! Thank you for another great tutorial 🥰
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing
Hi that's cool
I sit my acrylic paints in warm water to loosen them up if they have been sitting for a while.
OK so I LOVE these and immediately bought the cups you suggested and have already done two. Please I am not trying to be negative, but the ONLY issue with this style cup, is that it can ONLY be used with a straw, so once the "lava" settles, it can't go back up, like other "snowglobe" tumblers, you just shake a bit and they move around, these do not do that really. So this might be better done in a tumbler that you have to tip to drink, so stuff mixes a bit. I'm a little bummed, because they turned out SO COOL, doing exactly how the tutorial said, but now the stuff is settled and without turning it upside down, you can't really get it moving. Again, the video and cups are AMAZING, just wanted to point out you may want different cups that the top seals better on if you are doing this method, to keep it moving. But THANK YOU for a great video and amazing idea!
The problem is that those are a LOT harder to find and less reasonably priced
I love the heart and toad labels, where did you get them from?
These are the coolest things I seen can't wait to try it, but if you don't mind me asking can you tell me what type of printer do you use for your stickers.
I just have an Epson ecotank. It's an inkjet printer
I just started making these myself. Love your colors. I have to ask a non craft question though. What is the bird that is singing in the background? Its so pretty. Just like your tumblers.
Thank you. I'm not sure of the type of bird, just neighborhood birdies in the trees 🙂
I AM IN LOVEEEEE! This is amazing and your work is wonderful.... Question: does it have to be "alcohol ink" for the liquid ink or can it be the colored "pigment"?
Thank you. Good question. I have used mica powders but they tend to clump after awhile. I would guess that any liquid based pigments could work. U could try mixing them in a cup and see how well they stay dissolved in the solution before putting in the tumbler!
Can you make a video of the green one you did?
Love these! The bling with rhinestones is wonderful. Thank you! The rhinestones you linked to are hot fix rhinestones. Can those be used with glue? I've never heard of them.
Thanks!
@@crystaluv3313 you're welcome!
Yes you can use hot fix Rhinestones with glue, no problem!
These look awesome. Do you sand the cup prior to applying the epoxy??
No, I don't sand the acrylic tumblers because I'm afraid you will see the scratches. I haven't had any trouble in the past
Nice work…Can I ask what kind of sticker paper you used?
would uv resin or Brite tone work 2 seal the sticker in??
Can you add color to the baby oil as well ? And have 2 colors at the same time with out mixing??
Good question. I will have to experiment with that!
LOVE THIS!!! Where did you print the labels from if you dont mind me asking
Thank you! I purchased the files on Etsy
www.etsy.com/shop/DrPuggensteinGoos
I don't know if someone asked but what shade of red is your alcohol ink?
What brand UV resin do you use please?
These are awesome - going on my ToDo List! Where did you get the Potion labels?
I looked on etsy. I searched for potion/poison labels svg
@@crystaluv3313 - thank you
On the red one you used chunky glitter. Would you recommend not using glitter and a mica instead? It just looked to not mix well? I could be wrong! They look awesome!
The mica tends to settle and clump. I honestly prefer just alcohol ink and or glitter
When you do the epoxy coating, are you doing it around the entire tumbler ? I know you mentioned putting it on the rotator, but wanted to double check
Yes. I apply the epoxy to the whole tumbler then place it on the turner
I have just made my first blood drip tumbler. My oil has turned yellowish within the same day. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening?
I made a bunch of these and they look beautiful. As they sit though, the mica like builds on the sides and looks a little splotchy. Is that normal? I have been looking for a way to fix it like crazy and I can’t figure out how. Little boys just stick on the sides of the cup.
I know 😏 using just the alcohol ink did work better
Am I missing the link or name of the plug you used? I don’t see it.
May i ask, what measurements did you use for the glycerin and baby oil? What size was the little cup you had where you poured the glycerin? Thank you.
I just filled the cup 1/3 of the way with glycerin then the rest of the way with baby oil. All acrylic tumblers are different
can you list the UV resin you use? I don't see it in the list. I cannot find one on Amazon that has great reviews. Thanks!
I use this one. I like it, works well!

These are super cool! Did you only use glycerin and baby oil? No water at all is that right? I'm just fresh getting in to making shimmer cups so I need lots of advice!
Yes, just glycerin and baby oil!
@@crystaluv3313 sooooo much cooler than water! I love it!
can u send the items list of what’s need for lava tumbler
Where did you can the decals from. I love them
I found them on etsy, I forgot the store. I searched for poison/Harry Potter potion labels
If i add glitter to the baby oil will it mux with the drips? Thx
That's a good question. The glitter will settle when the cup is just sitting. I'm not sure if it would still be separate when shaken up....I've been meaning to experiment with this and I will let you know!
So, how did you epoxy these?
Could you share where you purchased the potion labels? Thanks
www.etsy.com/listing/722571772/9-unique-2-x-225-halloween-potion-label
What’s a furniture bumper….can you share the link
What kind of epoxy do u use to seal the pic on there?? Can I use the UV resin epoxy for that?
I use epoxy resin by KS resin.
?Where did you find those printable decals?
I purchased them on Etsy. The shop is DrPuggensteinGoos the images are called "unique Halloween potion label 2019". I hope this helps!
Do you epoxy over the rhinestones on the lid
No, they would lose their sparkle! I use a good gem glue like Liquid Fusion
What is that for paper
What kind of printer do you use to print your stickers?
I have an Epson Ecotank inkjet printer
Does the color ever eventually bleed from the glycerin to the baby oil? Or do they stay separately colored.
They stay separated. The mica may stick I have found though
@@crystaluv3313 do you have to use alcohol ink or would normal food coloring work?
Could color be added to the baby oil too?
I have used mucas and alcohol inks to color the oil. The alcohol inks made a nice transparent color. The micas tend to settle at the bottom
Where did you find the labels?
I've had these for awhile. But I did search for poison potion labels on Etsy
How much do you sell these for? I would love a true crime mug :) maybe like true crime & fall time 💁🏼♀️😝 with some skulls. I'll buy it from you if it's in my budget.
How can i get the stickers or the exact print? Thank you
I searched on Etsy for Potions labels svg
Thx so much
I have asked several people. I have gotten no answer yet. I have an acrylic cup that leaks from the top. I’d there a way to seal that? Would uv reason work?
You could try uv resin. That's what I use to seal my acrylic cups
@@crystaluv3313 thank you! My concern was would be safe around the top rim of the cup tho? It does have a screw on lid with a straw so I don’t think they’d be drinking with their lips on the tim
I seal the cup with uv resin, then do a final layer of epoxy resin to cover the decals and the seal. I hope this made sense!
@@crystaluv3313 ok thank you very much!
Some leak, some don't. Id just get the ones she linked to be safe...that's what im going to do
How much baby oil did you add
I filled it 1/3 of the way up the tumbler, then added the glycerin. All cups have a different volume
