    Very insightful video!
    I was surprised to hear though that C2 in Italian will not get you a job at the Italian office, neither will C1 in German get you a job at MBB in Frankfurt.
    Could you elaborate on this? Have you come across any exceptions to this rule?

      To build trust with clients, you need to come across as local, The language alone isn't enough: you need to be close in culture and even in looks (e.g. I just don't look like an Italian anyways). Exceptions include large English-speaking offices, sometimes in Northern Europe and the Arabian Peninsula, and unique domain knowledge by the consultant.

    Is it good to switch from product management to management consulting early in one’s career? What works best in long term, generalists to specialists or specialists to generalists?

      It depends on your interests. Plus product managers weren't a thing even 20 years ago. Nobody can say how the long-term outcomes differ

    Maybe ethics should be the most obvious and fundamental reason not to consider consulting. Ethical errors bring global, societal level consequences, imho

      I guess it depends on one's personal values

    Виктор , отличное , хорошо структурированное видео ,как всегда . Но динамика чуть-чуть не та . На русском канале медленное повествование смотрится привычно , на английском хотелось бы слушать более быструю речь .

    How do you think, after the pandemic is over, will the travelling level for consultants be the same as pre-pandemic?

    • @FlessPro
      @FlessPro  Před 3 lety +1

      Interesting question. I believe there will be less travelling. Some consultants and clients have learned to work remotely and will not want to go back to travelling
