    Haha, I love the end of the video where you climb back up from collapsing. Ive been there a few times, Ryan. No matter how much pain you feel at the end of each race, it always feels good a few moments later. I think this is what makes racing on Zwift addictive

    Amazing, Ryan. You're getting stronger and stronger. It's fantastic to watch. Great performances in the Tiny Races. Just finishing those is an achievement. That was a brilliant catch, to get back on to the front group in the first RGV race. Take lessons from things like that; note what sort of power you did for what sort of duration it was. It gives you a benchmark you can use, and it should give you confidence, knowing that you can do that sort of effort and still be competitive. And you're absolutely right; that win is definitely coming.

    Thanks to your videos I bought a turbo trainer and signed up to Zwift, had my first race yesterday, just so happens it was the RGV course. All I can say is you make it look easy!

    Great efforts, Ryan! I have also been trying to win a race in Cat D. I have just been racing in Zwift's Crit Club, but my PC kept having screen freeze issues only during races 🙄

    Your format where you cut to yourself talking after the race is great and makes for an engaging story. I'm rooting for you and want you to win! Don't be too negative about your sprint. You can and will get better. Sprinting is how I podium in my C cat races, so here are my two cents: (1.) cadence is huge. You want to be peaking at 120-130 or so rpm when sprinting. (2.) be at a high cadence (90 plus) before you start sprinting. This reduces the resistance feel from the trainer when you accelerate to 120 rpm. (3.) Watch some videos about body position and form when sprinting. TrainerRoad has a great Sprinting 101 video. (4.) Mini-sprints! I can only do a couple 10-15 second all-out sprints in a session at full power. But I can do dozens if it's just a 3 second, max-power sprint. Great for getting your form right and building confidence. You may not end up with a 1500 watt sprint, but if you improve your sprint by 300-400 watts (I did) it'll make a big difference!

    Great racing fella! New to your channel and but you’ve lit my mojo to get racing again. With your sprinting, don’t go to far out or you’ll blow up. Sit on a wheel, go with the pace and put the hammer down with about 80m - 120m to go. If you’ve got an aero power up, again don’t use it to early on the sprint as you’ll pull other along with you. Good luck with your next one lad 💪🏻

I've got my own fitness journey to travel on and I'm so glad I've found your channel for inspiration and company along the way. I love your content, you make me laugh and watching one of your videos always makes me feel like I can do it too. You've reminded me that a) I don't need to be my past pre-illness and injury athletic self to enjoy exercise and b) all I need to do to get up and on my bike is to show up and start.     Great video once again Ryan. You are improving and getting better and better. A Joy to watch. Just did the RGV course myself. Wished i saw your video first. Your tactics would have worked. Now i got dropped on the aquaclimb and yet again finished in a chasse patate by myself in between groups. Lets keep on pushing in 2024!

You've inspired me to try and win a race also, new years resolution (my plan is to go at 1km and catch them sleeping).
