We were doing this exact one part incorrectly and it was not working. we tried several times to place it back together and I searched for videos on how to put it together without finding any until yours. Now the machine is working and my son will be THRILLED when he gets home from school! :)

Playing with m grandkids could not get the machine to work followed your video it did help. One other thing Make sure the cord is firmly plugged in, The machine has suction cups on the bottom if they are not firmly attached to the surface the machine will vibrate loosening the connection to the plug. My machine kept turning off I realized the suction cups were not firmly attached to the counter surface the vibration loosened the plug and the machine kept turning off. When I firmly attached the suction cups and plug the problem stopped.
I’ve taken mine apart and put it together again so many times. My problem is my heater won’t heat up and is just giving cold air. When I put the sugar it just come straight out. Can someone help me?
Can you please tell me if there is a way to get more cotton candy on the stick? Every time we've tried it, all we can obtain is a small portion around the stick before the machine before too much melted sugar forces the machine to shut down.

It shouldn't, but you need to dry off the parts as much as possible and maybe let them air dry if you think they need it. When the heating element powers up it will evaporate any residual moisture
Hopefully you already found a solution, but I would advise you to either return it to the store where you bought it or contact the company to send you a replacement if it's not too old

+Raiders4Life 998 That's a good idea if you plan to use it a lot. I saw this as being akin to an easy bake oven so it wasn't intended to be used more than once in a while (or for a lot of kids at a party). I'm glad the other one worked for ya!
