When Peter says "he got away from us" at the end of the chase, He's not referring to him and miles. It's him referring to the symbiote and himself, showing how the symbiotes bonding with him more and more and seeing themselves as the one in the same.
And to think that's only from a few minutes with this version of the symbiote, hell at the end his eyes shifted to be more like Venom's before leaving Miles to go after Connors/Lizard.

Right in the beginning of the first fight it shows his original suit underneath for a second, and then the symbiote seems to take over after. Maybe in the beginning you can turn it on and off, but eventually it takes over and Venom starts to talk to Peter, poisoning his mind. That would be so dope IMO.

Love the idea of the symbiote causing problems for Peter's mentoring of Miles. That's something we haven't seen before in symbiote Spidey stories.
I'm worried it's going to become a fight between Symbiote Peter vs Miles with Miles trying to save Peter. That fight's going to be emotionally hard.

This is a bloody superhero game. Action, Story, Characters. This is what Avengers was trying to pull off and it did in parts but SM2 is looking bonkers on every front!

I'm really just a fan of all the little details in Peter's behavior while he's wearing the black suit.
He's agitated with Miles more easily when they fail to take down the gunship.
After he saves the civie, he tosses him to the ground and doesn't even ask if he's okay.
When Miles points out the tracker, he just takes it from his hand.
His compassion for Conners’ situation has been focused through a filter of anger woven by the symbiote. This is how the symbiote should be used. This is going to be perfection.
Not just compassion, he’s also needs Conners to help Harry.

@Money ye miles vs symbiote Peter most definitely happening. The last 10 seconds of the trailer give that away as the symbiote tries to take over the screen but miles new blue lighting shocks it back
this game will obviously be you playing mostly as miles because the symbiote is trying to get peter to do more ruthless things so miles will have to fight peter to get rid of it but thats pretty much a cop out because they're trying to cram a puzzle piece named miles unnecessarily into the game instead of have it play out how it does in every iteration of the spider-man comic where peter manages to get rid it on his own it would be better to have miles be a rarely seen supporting character in this game as he was the first one

Kraven to me feels so underrated compared to other Spider-Man villains. He's probably one of the most dangerous ones especially since he doesn't have any powers

It strikes a balance between organic and and being just a recolor, hell it has armor pads that resemble muscles, this is definitely the most unique looking black suits we’ve had so far
Seeing the material move on it like across the eyes gives it a more unnatural look for sure.

Perfect promo. Editing is dynamic, yet very sleek, nothing feels awkward or janky. Perfect sequence to showcase new features and plot points.
I’ve legit re-watched this gameplay reveal trailer almost a dozen times already! It’s the greatest gaming showcase that I’ve ever seen from any videogame to date; plus it has my second favorite Spider-Man Rogue AKA Lizard! 🔥🔥🔥

Symbiote suit looks amazing. Slim though when close you can tell its a slime alien. Gliding giving Pete some new movement. More detail added to the map giving dofferent parts of New York more flavour.

I’m super curious how this is all gonna tie together. Like if Peter has the symbiote where is Harry osborne? He had the symbiote in the after credit scene from the first game and how will Norman factor into this if at all? So many questions. Seems like kraven is the big antagonist of this one along with Pete and miles struggling with the venom stuff
Peter tells they need to chase connors because harry is dying so he is alive
Hear me out,Harry is Venom, And Venom symbiote Is slowly Killing Him and that’s why Curt connors (one of the scientist who worked on harry) is the only one who knows how to cure him.
I'm guessing Kraven is the decoy antagonist just like Mr Negative in the first game. Maybe Venom's the big one but I'm starting to doubt it. He will most likely be playable to allow us to keep using the black suit's powers after Peter gets rid of it. A playable main antagonist would be strange so maybe after fighting against Peter and Miles he will be an ally against a bigger foe (Green Goblin ?).

So happy the web shooters and their gameplay feel less like gadgets/tools and more like an extension of Spider-Man. They’re integral to his movement and combat so I’m happy to see more creativity with them.

My only “negative” is that the black suit’s gameplay will limit costume options. There’s the classic smooth texture suit for sure, and maybe a Flash Thomson suit, but Toxin or Spider-Carnage would be pushing it.

This game is really worth the wait. The web wings traversal through the city and inside the metro train station was some seriously peak level stuff. Moreover, Peter's rage is terrifying af ❤️. If watching the gameplay gave all of us the chills, imagine playing it ❤️❤️. Can't wait for Fall 2023.
