At what temp does she bake them, and for how long? I missed hearing it. We love her. So sweet! A true southern lady.
She bakes them at 450-500 degrees saying this is what keeps them moist and tender on the inside. Ovens vary but about 12 minutes or until they look right to you.

And put em close together so they have nowhere to go but up!
500 degrees for 10-15 mins depends on Your oven Keep an eye on them 😊

That's the way my paternal grandmother made them. But - no self rising flour (pre-self rising) and use a wooden bowl.
I’ve been married 58-years. My biscuit cutter is a potted meat can. That’s all I have ever used. White Lily has been my flour of choice for years-I use nothing else.
