  • In this effect tutorial you will learn a very cool PowerPoint layering trick. It is of a cheetah jumping through a hoop.
    This effect can be use to show the concept of moving through obstacles, stumbling block etc.
    We have used the image of a cheetah to show this animation. You can use any suitable image like the silhouette of a person to create your own template.

    That is very cool. I actually figured some of it out beforehand--the use of two hoops but I would have never known how to split by cropping. Makes sense! Thanks!

    Terrific video, thanks. Do you have one for the "Passing Through Filter" effect which is very relevant to what I want to do?

    • @PresentationProcess
      @PresentationProcess  Před 10 lety

      Simon Hughes You can easily create a filter effect. Add a Rectangular Grid ( create one with lines or use Fill Pattern). Add a perspective - say Perspective Left to the grid. Have a rectangle ( Width > Height) on the left side and a right arrow on the right side. This will give you a filter effect.

    what is the purpose of cutting the hoop and pasting it back as PNG?

    • @DeLisaLee
      @DeLisaLee Před 9 lety

      Antonio Agostinelli PNG files support transparency. An image of a different format would have displayed a white half-circle (instead of an open hoop).

  • @mohunrr
    @mohunrr Před 7 lety

    I could make a guess about splitting the ring into 2. However, you have not explained why you changed the image to PNG.

    • @PresentationProcess
      @PresentationProcess  Před 7 lety

      Hi Mohan, nice to hear from you! A PNG image has transparency for background. A JPG image would have white color in the background. So it is to avoid that white color fill. Hope that helps :)

    • @mohunrr
      @mohunrr Před 7 lety

      Ram, I am aware of this as I use Photoshop for titling and save them as PNG. Just wanted to bring to your notice that you did not mention this in your voice over!!!

    • @PresentationProcess
      @PresentationProcess  Před 9 lety +1

      Hi Bezty, You can enable subtitles for the video. Though not 100% accurate, it should give a good idea of what is being covered. TO enable subtitles, you can use the Settings icon (Bottom right of your video player) and change the subtitles / CC option to English.
