I appreciate your different approach to logic than everyone else nance and edging on YT. It made perfect sense when you said round line is better for maintenance and edging, whereas angled line is better for massive grass knock-down in fields. The tracking comment was also helpful. No one else has mentioned it in that way. - Right tool for the job at hand. Thanks!
@@leadnsteel1428 I used a few large rolls of the titanium pro and really loved it. I just wish It was a little cheaper. To me it feels like Oregon gator 105 big rolls are the best value on amazon as i mentioned in other comment.
I mainly use shindaiwa ultra flex. But as you already know, it's not always about the line, the operator plays a major role in the production. Thank you for the video!
I use ugly line and husqvarna lines on echo 2620t and like them a lot. I’d like to try that husqvarna xp force and I edge with a trimmer after I use the blade edger.
round string spins faster than edged string but it more or less beats the grass of it doesnt actually cut and ive run alot of that xp force string and ive noticed that it'll weld itself inside the head but the titanium force wont trim force wont either im not sure on those other strings ive never used those
I spend hundreds of hours on a string trimmer like you do but I'm really impressed by that scientific analysist there. I use the Oregon gatorline 105 for cutting tall weeds with my stihl 131s and 240. Echo black diamond is some of the sharpest I've used but it breaks noticeably faster. Oregon gators currently something like 62 bucks for 1160 feet of 105 and I haven't found a better deal on amazon but I'm up for suggestions. The 10 lbs of string I already have is only gonna last me a season.
I used Husqvarna line only, until I tried the Stihl CF3 Pro. All are good. So many good choices. I use 525LST mostly. BTW..the Husqvarna 525LST dominates the weaker Stihl 94R...on weight and power.
I like the round line Husqvarna titanium and orange xp pro. . I even use green ugly line.. but ya itscwhat works good for you. But I hat that echo black dimon or any twist line they are slopy on side walk edges.
Square line stacks on the spool better, you can stack it on top of itself easier when loading a spool the round just goes every where it slips off itself and is just aggravating when it's 100°
I mainly used discarded monofilament 0.95 and 0.105 fishing lines that came off the longliner fishing vessels. They are extremely durable and in my experience, last the longest. The secret is in the soaking treatment they get whilst in service as fishing lines.

Echo black diamond close to being the worst line i ever used. cut good but so brittle. love square gatorline and orange round stihl line. like husq brand line too
We use husqvarna titanium force for everything. We tried echo orange line (garbage literally would take it as an insult if somebody tried to give it to me free). Many of the weed warrior names and stihl. None compare to the versatility of Husqvarna. Also hey man you gonna review the Husqvarna 330lk or is it just a reskin of the 128ld?
Was using square line until watching a pro with twisted Pro Yard .105.. Not much of this on search.. He had Soooo much more control... It lasted well and didn't grab thick grass and make a bare spot. He could cut at slower speeds with the line at full length. Seemed so easy. The cheaper yellow (depot) square line was brittle on cane grass or concrete. Snapped at the spool. I could only find the most expensive twisted line at True Value. Their brand.. didn't last like the Pro Gard. But, was pretty good! Cheap brittle lines Cost.. In so much time wasted on feeding out line or opening the spool, when it breaks. Better lines just keep on going! Love what you said.. "There is no Best..." Maybe the best for what You are cutting. 👍
I agree with titanium force being the best as far as a “approach everything” kind of deal. Black Diamond is overrated imo cuts great but I want something that can do it all and be durable as well as a good value for my money

Husqvarna titanium force ftw. Best stuff out there.

Without a doubt this best trimmer line that has worked for me is the .95 yellow Ugly Line they sell at Lowes.

Weed warrior twisted commercial is a great line
What holds up in your hot climate/hit trailer etc. Different fur all

Hey thanks ,I got some 200# andy I will try , somebody told me to use weed eater line for fishing leaders , so now I'm totally confused 😅😂✌🏻
At the moment I use .80 gatorline round and Husqvarna titanium force and xp
Is Gatorline round better than the square???
DEWALT DWO1DT802 0.080 in. x 225 ft. String Trimmer Line vs Square Gatorline Trimmer Weedeater Line Professional Grade. Which one is the best????
Are u still using that dewalt line ? Do u use it in a 60v dewalt weedeater ?
Husqvarna titanium .95, Oregon .105 and Stihl red round .95 does the job. But that Darwin grip brand phantom blue is too weak for the 130r

Pro Gard in a blackish package.
Do you soak it in water? I've seen people that recommend it, just haven't tried it yet
No!!!!
Buy in bulk always. All those one week packages suck. Get the ones that last a month to three
I did that just once
never
