6’10" (2.1m) American “servebot”, John Isner (World #41) faced another big server, 6’5" (2m) Hubert Hurkacz from Poland (World #10) in the second round of the 2022 Western & Southern Open. Although there were few rallies, it was interesting to watch Isner go for broke once the rally started since Hurkacz had a clear advantage from the baseline. Isner barely scrapped out the win, relying on his huge serve and having some of his high risk shots pay off.

Yea 100%. He was awful during his match against Ivashka in the US Open. Fluctuated between not caring & freaking out, no in between. Bizarre
