We camp in an amazing park for the night in Stratford-Up-on-Avon (Bridgefoot Marina) £15 for the night. The next morning we visit Clarkson's Farm to sample the Diddly Squat Farm Shop's goodies.
His new Chilly range really does pack a pinch.

Regarding the prices, it doesn't surprise me at all. Farmers are woefully paid for their produce, with supermarkets dictating prices to them rather than the other way round.
You have to say a "Scotsthey/them" now....

Awesome, just spent two nights in Lawns car park Lincoln adjacent to the castle walls, £9 per 24 hrs, well lit and cctv, no facilities but lots to do and see right on the doorstep, Robbo 👌👍

@@UrbanMonkeyAdventures Think the charges are all year and not bad for £9 for a 24 hr stay and everything very close by, it’s a great stay. About 10ish MH’s and a few VW’s all parked up, i presume the summer months will be very busy though. You can see the charges and car park on my recent CZcams video 👍

Yeah! Apparently the restaurant down the field had to be closed after a month, the planning for the restaurant in the lambing barn was turned down, (to expensive to appeal,) but they managed to make it into a bar. It’s really good in there.
Bought cow juice, coffee, sausages and a case of hawk stone lager.
All amazing. 👌🏼

We use an app on our phones called CB Talk you can just use you phone but that’s not legal so you can buy a Bluetooth mic 🎙️ to go with it that we all use. Works great we are on it daily.

We’d never been to Stratford. It was beautiful but we didn’t have long. We’ll deffo be back again this year for the weekend 🚐🤙

I go to lizard in Cornwall few times a year a small farm shop at a dairy we visit does lovely milk. 3 quid ish a bottle and you get money back when you take back bottle. I do understand what hes trying to do though. Highlight what little farmers make but maybe a tad too much though. For me this is fashionable produce. Good old fashioned paying for a brand.

The Diddly Squat prices are cheap compared to Disneyland Paris or US, if you do NOT take a ride on any anything, you will be 200 quid lighter when you walk out with a paper sack in hand with nothing worthwhile

Clarkson is a business genius. We all go into Tesco and compare the price of products to get the best value, but then people go to Diddly Squat and clamber over themselves to pay insane money for way overpriced stuff. Genius. I would love to be a pound behind Clarkson.

It would be a long drive for a farm shop if we hadn’t arranged more activities and stopovers to fill the weekend! It was fun going with friends and celebrating a birthday 🎂 I find most farm shop’s expensive tbh!

but he’s doing so much for all the farmers that are struggling he’s highlighting so much that they have to deal with. He’s also supporting all the local farmers in the area that are struggling with massive losses from TB closures ect so by supporting the shop we are supporting so many 🤜🏻🤛🏻

@@baxdesign farm shops are expensive tho, it's justified but I don't want too go through all the different reasons why it is all more expensive, farm shops are more for the rich or for a treat but it supports the local producers such as neighbouring farms which they source some of the produce from aswell as there own farm, employees and overall economy of the area, not just Jermey. If you have then watch the show and you'll know that Jeremy isn't making that much money from all of it because of all the issues and the concil not accepted his restaurant plans
