Congrats Lamb Chop. I hope some Aussie mags do the same. They have practically no online presence in text or video. They put out a 2 minute video everynow and then. The independent content producers are miles ahead.

Happy for you mr chops! You'll get a lot of advice re: doing anything for free. You are in a good position, you have all your gear already so won't be making any extra purchases, you get a few quid for write-ups or at the very least the mods to your superduke end up costing nothing, which gets you videos for this channel too. And you get to go on holidays with fast bikes people which again is more content for us and them.
And since you're not getting 'paid' to do the videos you hopefully won't end up having to have everything approved 10 times and lose your enjoyment of making the videos. I think this benefits everyone involved, just don't let anyone take the piss and everyone will come out better off!
Better start watching hoolies in the south of france on repeat to get yourself ready for how to act on your first trip out with them

Sorry for the confusion, not even started working for them yet and having to issue apologies already haha

face to face is allways the best for meetings, phone calls dont work. I travel 5 hours back and fore for my meetings i have been attending, you get so much done from a single hour meeting rather than several hours of phone calls.

Oi prawn breath, you're creating content for them and they aint paying you? You're cheap! I can say why I think they would ask for you chops my friend and that's because many vlogger's content include loads of bad language, moaning about how hard their life is and needing support, ranting at other road users and pedestrians or the need to make money out of their channel gets in the way of them actually making decent videos. I have no interest in someone riding to a duck pond and back just to get a video out. Okay there are others that make good informative content I agree but you make me a smile and you don't take yourself too seriously. Well done fella I look forward to watching your stuff.

Vlogging is much like photography in that the availability of inexpensive digital cameras, still or video, has businesses offer "opportunities" where the photographer/vlogger works for free for the additional exposure that they will get. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult for anyone to actually make a career out of photography/videography. In your case, in addition to vloging they are getting a free "journalist" too. If that's what you want, good for you. Don't get me wrong, I like CZcams in that it gives you an opportunity to get paid a little something for doing what you enjoy. I feel like you are being taken advantage of, albeit willingly.

That's good that you are being paid. We have "minimum wage" laws in the USA. I assume you do too. The publication probably realized they would be running afoul of the law if they didn't pay you for published content. They should be paying you for anything and everything that you do for them.
