Anyone comparing past and present is probably failing to take into account most factors. If it was possible to transport one fighter in a time machine, and back, we'd have something to cross-reference and draw comparisons, but we can't. The Klitschkos fought some of the same opponents but we don't quite know what would happen if they fought each other. And boxing fans are bad at forecasting fights.
Yeah because it used to be 15 rounds with different gloves. Ffs it's not hard to decipher that boxing before the 80s was a tougher era. Imo even tyson had a lucky era.

Usyk is certainly the best heavyweight boxer since lennox lewis. But to make him one of the best of all time he needs opponents who are considered themselves to be one of the best / future hall of famers. How many future hall of famers did Usyk defeat? Fury and maybe Bellew? Joshua is still in his peak and on the good way to become a future hall of famer but he still has to prove himself. I love Usyk as a fighter and his skills and boxing IQ. I waited so long for a deserving successor to the throne of Lennox and here he is. It is just a pitty that there are not enough great boxers around for him to polish his record and to make him one of the best. Unfortunately.
