About what Yuri has been doing (since you mentioned it): Yes, she has been doing some photoshoots. However, her main job along with Soshi activities is acting (like it is for Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun). She also was a part of a musical in 2020 or 2021
One of my most fave of Sooyoung's many assets is that she always goes for the funny. Another is her intelligence and quick perspectiveness. Combine those two and you get her on the boat deck set, pointing out to the cameraman how funny it was that all the members had paired off 😂
about mvs, yeah you still have quite a few mvs to get through and then obviously theres the solo projects/mvs too (which as a self proclaimed yuri solo songs ambassador its my duty to recommend her solo mvs/album 👀) so you have plenty of music to get through which is always good :)
also side note if you want more behind the scenes of mvs, red velvet has put out videos like this the past couple comebacks too so those are there if you ever feel like it haha

The thing is, it may take a really long time to set up a 20 second shot that could get cut in the end, that dress that Taeyeon wore maybe just a few seconds on screen.
To be honest, took me a while to recognise them again.
it is so obvious they used a green screen. but that scene was done as tribute to their the Boys MV.
I guess they dont have budget to replicate the original which used multiple cam to do that slow-mo 360 shot.
