Seohyun has always been in charge of the vocal harmony of soshi. She'd always be the one who will do the second voice. Her pitch accuracy is amazing and ig that also stems from the fact that she is well trained in piano.
Seohyun really ate this album. Her vocals were no joke.
Even Hyoyeon who is the main dancer/rapper sounded so great as a vocalist. Never regretted being a SONE since 2007.

i love soshi vocal line BUT i gotta be a bit annoying here and say that seohyun deserves sooooo much more credit than she usually gets. such a genius on the vocals, plus she ALWAYS exudes a sensuality that is very unique to her in the group. the maknae turned out to be the sexiest member of all.
Seohyun’s lower tone made me weak! Wow 😮 but the lower tones overall in this song were amazing!

Can you tell me why they were singing the lower tones too? Is it for the background vocals? And also what exactly was the meaning of this one (the section at 10:00) with Sooyoung?? What dubbing? I have no idea about these things but I have really wanted to get it since I saw this bts video the first time
yes it’s for the background vocals. if you listen to the actual song, you can hear it layered under the lines. dubbing is essentially doubling the line so it’s the same line layered over each other except this time in the same octave unlike before. Dubbing is why in solo artist’s music, it can sound like multiple versions of themselves singing to make the song fuller especially in choruses.
