Great video! I always appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into your videos. A video on the best dinos for each cave might be nice if you are looking for video ideas given that cryopods aren't in game yet. I think I saw somewhere in a video that the entrance sizes have been tweaked so curious to see what the biggest/best dinos are that fit through the reworked caves. Baryonyxs have always been great, but I liked using thylas a lot in ASE and they didn't fit through a lot of entrances.

Got so many platforms, they break down into polymer which is great, although it’s organic which is less great, so either keep them whole until needed or breaks down and store in snails
@BEYPlaysGames I find them often on Lost Island, and lie to myself and tame them, but I'm always disappointed. Buying red crates on Gen2 is the best way I've seen for loot
You should do another video like this but include popular modded creatures like the Deinosuchus, Acro, Meraxes, Cerato, etc. I’ve seen basically nothing on how or where to get high tier saddles for modded creatures, so a video covering that would be awesome.

Right after taming a ptera I looted two metal behemoth gates out of a drop... I felt RICH as each gate demolished for a ton of paste and metal or which I didn't have much.

Official server I have a 580 pump I found in a cave so drops are just busted in general, also there is no cap on stats for crafting bps so probably could see 1k damage if they get a high enough bp

deap sea is still valid. getting capped items. just yesterday 600dmg pump. also im not sure if they carried over this same loot quality range concept of ASE, but land supply drops can give up to 200% quality, land caves, up to 400% quality, and the deep sea caves is the only place where you can get up to 600% quality on the items. deep sea caves still valid 💯
Are you sure those aren't the underwater cave crates? I opened up 100 of those Deep Sea ones and they were terrible and no like the type of loot you're mentioning haha!
@@BEYPlaysGames going back and re-watching the last couple minutes, I realize i confused the final crate that you looked at (just a normal sea crate) with one of the water cave drops, that’s why I was confused. The deep sea cave is what I was saying is still good, which you did show in the video. I got confused in the end there my b. But for those quality ranges, that 600% is referring to the deep sea caves, not the loot found at the bottom of the oceans.
and just to clarify where I got the shotguns, the 600 damage one was found in a red drop in easy under water. And a 250~dmg one was found in a red sky supply, crate, with a ring I believe.

Honestly with these drops coded drops should be irrelevant. Also the journeyman and apprentice bps from sea crates aren’t bad for those solos on official ascendant bps can get costly
Can you do video guides on where to find the different loot crates in each of the caves and the deep sea loot crates? The ocean terrain has changed a bit, so its a bit difficult to find where they are, same for some of the caves by the looks of it.

I'd honestly have no idea if they are or not. That's based on your video of it. I've been in the oceans a bit but I never could remember the location of all the crates in ASE, and I have yet to actually find any in ASA. So far only been able to reliably find land crates and swamp cave crates. Havent found the locations for any of the others yet.@@BEYPlaysGames

Hey! I just spawned them all in to see what loot they drop, I've only spotted one legit deep sea loot crate but the coords are all different on this map for everything when compared to The Island on ASE!

It depends really, I feel like the Liopleurodon buff only works well if you're with another tribemate, they can go up to the drop first and open it first to see if there's anything good inside and if not, they can take all but 1 item so the drop stays there and say you have the buff you can then open it as it will reroll the contents inside for you!
One question, have you tested this in official servers? I mean, I see an huge amount of ascendant Blueprints and items, is this with quality drops slider in 1.0? Thank you for your effort.
It's 0.5 loot quality in this video, it was so OP on 1 I tried to make it more realistic but I've heard it's like this on official too haha! And no problem!
It is great if you can fit it in the cave! I tried with a cryo the first time and could access the majority of the cave but last time I tried I couldn't get it past the 2nd section, just wouldn't fit past it :(
Quick question tho. I’ve noticed what I think is a new color of drop. It’s the same shade of light blue as ascendent items and they show up with about the same rarity as red and yellow drops with similar loot. Anyone know anything about this????

I would say it is overall for the quality and variety of loot in general but you will have to visit the other caves etc if you are looking for other saddles for example!
Purple land beacons, Hard snow cave looks to be best as all 3 drops spawning in there can potentially drop them which gives it the highest chance of finding them, also Swamp cave has 2 drops out of 3 that can potentially drop them so also a good chance to find one there!
All you need is scuba to get the deep sea so in a sence very easy to obtain that drop or a high oxgen with a shark or any water mount with a pl8 form above it
You do have to swim around the whole ocean though because there's like 20-30 locations where they can potentially spawn so bit too much effort for that kinda look quality XD
I don't think so, which is why I decided to try and make an in-depth video about it all and add time stamps so people can skip to the stuff they want to know, I do hope someone publishes a text guide at some point :P or we get an actual ASA ARK wiki with all info!

Probably Swamp Cave or hard snow cave but Swamp cave is way easier to run! Can find some good ones in blue drops and yellow land beacons too!

The Mystic Skin Oil only rerolls the drops btw so it would probably drop most of the same after opening so many anyway!

No problem at all! Your best bet to find the best quality would be the hard snow cave blue drops or red drops, such a hard cave to run though XD

I just had a liopl on a official smalls server and i noticed absolutely zero change to deep sea crates compared to the non deep sea crates
