Kwikset Black Friday Electronic Deadbolt 275 part 1 HOME DEPOT

I bought this lock, and the instructions inside the lock were wrong. Which is why I believe it is a Black Friday Special.
This goes over how to program it and how to set the lock up.

Is there a possibility of bypassing the security feature, so we can just enter the lock codes? I have this lock on a rental, and sometimes it confuses guests.

Aaron Grimm I believe the security feature is inherently built into it. To protect your home. To keep people from recognizing a pattern.

Something is very weird with the one I have, the locking and unlocking is in opposite directions 😅.I need to enter my pass code to lock it and unlock it with one press without entering the sec8code.

I programed a new lock code but the default 1234 STILL works as well

You may have to re-read the instructions to delete the default code. I’m no lock smith just a guy who had trouble himself and posted a video about it! Thank you for watching!

axell martinez I did not read info the auto lock features. I don't use that. I have no experience with it.

It is in the middle, underneath the batteries. Almost Between the two screws when you take the cover off. I hope this helps
