I have the same issue. My eyes are either too tiny or these false lashes are way too big I just can't pinpoint which one it is. I so wanna use lashes because it makes the whole makeup look put together but I'm so bad at it that I can't even emphasis enough. I did the same thing- cut the lashes into half but it still didn't work for me but I'll now follow the techniques you've shared. It's so scary but watching you do it so effortlessly, gives me hope and I think makeup is all about trying and taking risks so fingers crossed. This video was much needed! Thanks! 💓

I am a newbie at fake lashes and I am sure I will ruin many pairs before I "get it" but thank you for the "fringing" technique so that my current pair don't touch my forehead LOL!

I'm a makeup artist and have been struggling with the same problem lately because the falsies i get from the local market are quite long and they don't look good on many of my clients, and purchasing different types of lashes is not affordable as well. But with this technique i can now customise them according to the eye shapes of the cleints.

Great video! A quick helpful hint for you. You should be using a hair cutting scissor or shear. Regular scissors will fray the hairs. They don't have to be expensive scissors. Cheapy ones will do just fine. Just make sure that you only use them for hair. You'll ruin them otherwise.
Ahhh it helps me a lot! My newly bought falsies are unexpectedly too long(it can touch my eyebrows lol) for my small eyes and it looks really weird on me haha, now after trimming it finally looks decent and wearable for natural look 🤣

I know that this question might be weird since I'm on this video but I have overly long lashes that don't retain moisture, and that are way too long and constantly poke my eyes out. False lashes might be great but when I wake up I have literal lashes in my eyes, so if anyone knows a safe way to trim or shorten your eyelashes please tell me.

urmmm, maybe use smaller scissors for such a precise job? Did you put them on? A before and after would have helped and a more closeup view.
