Optometry student here.. be careful gluing stuff underneath your lashes because that's where your oil glands are for your tears. Unless you are seriously experienced or confident, I would advise not doing this in order to avoid infections or clogged oil glands

Loads of people heat their curler and blow dry their lashes. Also, many people use tweezers placing their lashes. Lash glue is only dangerous if you get it IN your eye, and as long as you're not suffering tremors, you should have no problem placing them. It's actually more dangerous to line your waterline.

Plus you risk ripping your lashes more when putting it directly on your lashes vs just laying it on top. I’d try it but it definitely wouldn’t be often.

People don't try it unless you want to damage your eye! Safety first.
You risk more damage by lining your waterline than you do by applying your lashes this way. Unless you have tremors or something, you can easily place them where they don't touch ANYTHING except your lashes, and the glue will not rip your lashes out. If you are remotely worried about pulling out your lashes, hold a warm, damp washcloth on your eye for 20-30 seconds first to loosen the bond of the glue.

I tried this trick once, I do not recommend. The lashes fell from the lash line into my eyes and felt very scratchy as I was trying to stay calm to get them out.

Contact lens wearer here! I’ve been doing this for maybe 6 months now and it works great! It takes a bit of practice so if you’re trying this hack for the first time try cutting up your falseys into smaller sections or try it with an accent lash, it is much easier to apply this way and won’t irritate your eyes. I also have hooded, almond shaped eyes so this works great for me. I use a latex-free glue and i find much more comfortable than any other method.
I’ve done this and once u get used to placement...it WORKS! Looks AMAZING! Truly looks like extensions or natural! It’s all in the placement!

I do this sometimes- TIP: a less dangerous way to do this would be to cut the lashes into 3s. It’s so much easier/safer and it looks beautiful.

I love this, and thank you for this tip/hack it's been so helpful.Even though I'm pretty good at doing/applying my own make up I always struggled with the false eyelashes,no matter what and how I did it.I couldn't get them on right and it would take me forever, they looked crooked or wouldn't stay on at all.This works great for me and looks even better!

try using an oil cleanser to remove the lashes after! no strong pulling necessary. just rub the cleanser in until the falsies gently peel off.

I use translucent powder on my lashes before applying mascara and it works it makes them less clumpy , nicely lifted and curled too that lasts all day long

I'm 65 years old and when I was 19 my cousin showed me how to apply lashes underneath your natural lashes. We loved doing it that way!

@@kandicecruise4219 I’ve only had succes when cutting the lashes into sections or buying the cluster or accent lashes. Also kiss falscara lashes are made to be put underneath your lashes and are the EASIEST I’ve found and the only ones I could do for a while lol

Basically, baking soda should be left in the pantry and not on the vanity.

I never thought of putting eyelid primer on my lashes! Going to give this a shot since my mascara always melts no matter what as well as the lashes thing!

I've been doing mine underneath for years. They really do look more natural. What I didn't do is the primer and mascara first. I'll have to add that too😊 thanks great video. And ladies if you let it get tacky enough, you won't have to worry about glue in the eyes.
Great hack, except will not work for me as I have no eyelashes so can't glue the false lashes to my nonexistent lashes.
I love how the lashes look when apply them under my lashes vs on top of them. I don't know why I stopped doing it this way.
Brilliant idea however the glue could be toxic to the eyes overtime. The glue may not be opthomologist tested. They look great but this might be dangerous. I could be wrong.

I've tried this before and I have to say if you suffer from allergies and or hay fever the glue will irritate the crap out of your eyes! I look like I just hit a bong after doing this my eyes were so damn red and irritated and watering! Yes it looks natural, but glue that close to my eyeball! NO WAY!
Applying UD primer potion to the lashes before curling and mascara is a great tip. I discovered this when accidentally getting primer on my lashes. They hold curl so much better.

Going to give this a try this weekend and report back lol. I love wearing false lashes but rarely do so because I don't wear much makeup. I find the regular way of applying lashes too difficult, and the lashes end up looking all wonky on me.

I tried it a few times. It was pretty difficult to get on and then immediately irritated my eyes. This trick is good for one instagram pic but not to wear for any period of time.

Not for me! It doesn't touch the water line. Apply it directly underneath the real lashes! Hope that helps!
It can and has happened but you really need to wait for the glue to be tacky first then apply them and don’t blink until they dry. (Or try the blow dry hack Jen mentioned that might help)
Yes! Did it before and it was horrifying.
Let the glue get tacky before putting it on. Also blink just before putting it on. This takes practice and is not as easy as it looks, I have been doing it for a year. I’ll never go back to over the lash tho.

Do NOT do this! Glue can easily go right into your eye!

cyhenna i use this hack all the time. Once i got the glue on my contact..my contact in my eye looked white and vision became hazy. Threw out the contact but glad i got it on my contact and not my eyeball. Still use the hack but much more careful now
