    ~HOW THE SAND GOT CLEANED~
Below is information from the shop explaining the Cleaning and Maintenance of the Japanese Volcanic Sand:
    - Before and after each use, the sand is cleaned and sterilized by releasing water at 100 degrees into the pond 3-4 times before and after each customer's use. This process involves raking and leveling the sand, removing any debris, and adding a disinfecting agent into the pond to maintain hygiene standards.
    - The Sand Bath Pond's Water Treatment System is quality controlled every 7 days.
    - Last but not least, the customer/patient must clean their body by showering before getting into the sand bath.
Overall, the cleaning process of a Japanese volcanic sand bath involves meticulous attention to detail to ensure the safety, comfort, and effectiveness of the therapeutic experience for every participant.

Welp, that was amazing - but I don’t think I would do it. 20:10 you looked like you felt nauseous and I know I do when I overheat. The rapid exhaustion caused by overheating sets off alarm bells in my mind and the ‘weight loss’ is likely nothing more than temporary loss of water. Still, for a video, it looked and sounded cool and was very entertaining. I’m glad you’re okay!

@@ny4000 I used to work at a day spa that had a 'sand wrap' which was basically this but not as hot for after massages or to relax muscles. We had chemical disinfectant/antifungal cakes (they dissolve gradually like urinal cakes) in the water inflow grate. We'd pour a little extra disinfectant in if we weren't satisfied with a clients personal hygiene or felt it needed something more. Once a week we shovelled all the pebbles out and scrubbed the basin with super harsh stuff. These guys are probably doing the same (it just doesn't look as relaxing to see industrial sized jugs of neon blue cleaner!)

📢 Hi, when you commented on how the sand is taken care of and how often it is cleaned, I reached out to the shop for you, and below are the answers:
Cleaning and Maintenance of the Japanese Volcanic Sand
I'm glad you had these concerns; it shows you care about the content I post 😍 not just watching for fun. Feel free to ask more questions; I will try my best to give you answers ✌😘🥰

Looked more like laying in a giant tub of kitty litter. lol 😆 jokes aside, I would definitely try it…but I wouldn’t be able to lie comfortable on my stomach, I’d have difficulties breathing while laying face down with a large chest. Wonder how much costs for a dip in the kitty litter though lol 😝😆🤔

If I had to guess I'd say $300-500 due to the substance used + two employees and the cleaning and prep time

The full price is about $80 but they often have promotions for about $65-70

It was so hot (I think it was the hottest treatment I ever received!) I felt like I sunk into a very very hot onsen but lucky me that my sweat wasn't salty type, when I got out of the tub I felt suddenly refreshed like I just finished shower. Love it!

I think as a benefit of this treatment (as claimed) is a weight loss so they will weigh you before & after
Me personally, I have no intention to lose any gram of my weight, I highly go for this treatment for releasing deep muscles tension

Can I ask why you find it to not seem relaxing? I just genuinely can't picture why someone wouldn't find this appealing lol, I have always really wanted to experience a weird sensation of gravel on my body, ever since I was a small kid on the playground and this is a MASSAGE with a similar natural element. Why wouldn't that feel nice?
