You have no idea how much I needed that while trying to care for my 92 yr old dad in this mess. He has Alzheimer's but picked up his banjo for a bit today, been over a year. I cried.
He loves you, as do I.

Terry McKown ... I hear you. I spent over 3 years caring for my mom who had Alzheimer’s disease. I was her sole caregiver. I lost her 3 years ago. She. Was one month short of 94. I thought I was ready but you never really are. We only have one mom and dad. I miss my mom everyday. Music was a big part of my caregiving. I was the only caregiver. That’s common. Be proud of how strong you are caring for your dad. Music is the greatest joy and thankfully we have Billly Strings.
God bless your father....and you as well my friend for enduring with him.....may God walk with you both.....sonny in montana.

Edit: Found out that my ex found a new partner. Basically 1,5 months after she left me. I don't know. I wouldn't be able to open up for someone new like that so soon. But my feelings and approach is not her feelings and approach.
Women come and go. Its not our girl its just our turn. Least thats what ive been telling myself.

Things are starting to get better. Got a new temporary place to live, and have four job interviews next week. Women can wait. I need to sort things out for myself before that door can open again. But I want to give and feel love again.

People have to many personal agendas these days instead of "1 united cause" for the betterment of human beings, and what we are leaving behind for our families to learn from. After a lifetime of the pain of drug and alcohol addiction paired with mental illness I am three months sober today and the times are truly getting better. I lost my life savings during this shutdown, 20 yrs of what I've worked for to build a business suddenly GONE in 3 months, and my profession is changing and weeding guys like me out so who knows what's next.
You have changed my entire approach to Life. I've always been about the muzik, playing and singing to relax when it was convenient. Now, I'm ALL ABOUT THE MUZIK! Nothing else is important. YOU TAUGHT ME THAT! And to watch my 11 year old son really dig your muzik as much as I do helps level me out!
God made you to do exactly what you're doing. I'm sure when u get to the next Spiritual Realm the Creator will be well pleased! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for respecting the music and sharing it with the rest of us!

Bill, I just really started being a fan recently. I’m a wee bit older than you ( a little over 30 years) but as a kid I can remember the first album that I really recall hearing was Will the Circle vol 1. My dad was a big Doc Watson fan and I have a picture from when I was about 3 with Doc and Merle. The first time I heard you play, my first thought was Damn , this dude plays live Doc. And listening to you and your dad play , it sounds like Doc and Merle. I really enjoy your music. Many prayers for your continued success and for your families safety. Thank you for the music ,man!
