  • Rummaging through some video clips I had on my phone, I found a few of some evening dry fly fishing on the Spokane in June.
River levels were high but we found some fish tucked along brushy current seams such as this one feeding on emerging caddis.
The Spokane River is not known for spectacular dry fly fishing, but for those that fish the river consistently and know what to look for can be rewarded with some nice fish on the surface.
Here my friend Bob was using a crippled caddis emerger in tan to fool a pod of actively feeding fish. Both redbands and cutthroat were in this particular pod.
    Thanks for watching!
