Mayu Maeshima did ReZero opening 4 "Long Shot" as well as Overlord Ending 4 "No Man's Dawn". She is the original vocalist of MYTH and ROID that did Saga of Tanya the Evil opening, Overlord ending 1, ReZero ending 1, and both Myth and Roid ReZero OST's, as well as ReZero opening 2.
She Left in November 2017 to Pursue a solo career. The new MYTH and ROID vocalist KIHOW, did Overlord ending 2 and Overlord opening 3 "VORACITY" as well as a whole lot of others.

It is a really funny series about a guy who has finished his Isekai adventure after 17 years and has returned to the real world living with his Nephew. Things in the real world have changed since the Sega Saturn days.

So God of highschool is an adaptation of a korean manhwa (manga sort of) made by mappa so it does take place in korea with korean characters. Honestly people don't really like the adaptation in terms of plot but I gotta say the animation looks beautiful. Also ost you heard definitely has a lot of kpop in it haha.
Animation? Godly. Condensing 100+ chapters into 12 episodes and changing plot points was not the move. Got people to go read the manhwa though
What makes me sad is that I looks like they gave up on it after S1 when it really gets good after the tournament.
@@2amCryptid The manhwa was pretty mid as well. The early parts had fun fights, but I found it getting boring and just plain stupid as it went on.
@@2amCryptid Honnestly, I'd say they did a pretty awesome job considering they condensed 100+ chapter in 12 episodes. If taken separately frim the manhwa the anime is by no mean bad, sure some things were changed/missing but it's still realy enjoyable.
The singer Maeshima Mayu for Isekai Ojisan's OP was the former vocalist for Myth & Roid.
The ED for Isekai Ojisan is sang by Iguchi Yuka, she's the VA for Crusch in Rezero, Demon Empress Kishirika in Mushoku Tensei, the FMCs for Bookworm and Toaru Majutsu no Index, etc. She also sang some of Danmachi's OPs and Toaru series EDs, etc.
God of High School is based on a Korean Manhwa, same as Tower of God and Solo Leveling, both also based on Korean Manhwas.
Story is a banger, Mayu Maeshima is amazing she was the old lead singer of myth & roid up to 2017 and did the 4th Re:Zero opening Long Shot also no man’s dawn from overlord. Really hoping she’ll be back for one of the later Cours of Re:Zero for another opening or ending even
Personally I thought long shot was the worst op from re zero(not that it's bad but it's just not as good as the others). I would like if she doesn't do English next time. The lyrics just pulled me out of the song since they didn't make too much sense on just a casual listen

Isekai ojisan is just Japanese name.
It's a story about 36y.o guy who get caught in isekai and just transported back.
And he just feel greatest pain of his life. Because you know he was like biggest fan of SEGA in his childhood. And got isekaed in 2000 and spend 18 years in other world. So first question that he asked was, how many consoles Sega released after Dreamcast that he can't buy because of this isekai thing.
Uncle From Another World is really funny, and i love the Sega references lol
God of highschool is an anime based on a webtoon and its plot takes place in South Korea, not Japan. Crunchyroll, in cooperation with webtoon, made this anime just like Tower of God. Webtoons or manhwas (the Korean equivalent of manga) are now gaining popularity: you saw Solo Leveling, which also takes place in South Korea. So in the coming years we will see more anime based on Korean works.

Another good Anime to React to if you'd like
God of Highschool starts out as a classic teen battle royale tournament arc and then turns into an insane plot, neat worldbuilding and really unexpected events, and it just keeps getting crazier. Super fun, pretty short, only about12 episodes. If you want to have fun watching an anime, I recommend it!
They did the original story so dirty in terms of plot though. Amazing fight scenes but since I came from the webtoon I can't help to be slightly disappointed overall
one of my absolute favorite series, Noragami, has one of the coolest openings, not just the song, but something about the art/animation of the opening always gets me Noragami - Goya wa Machiawase
I'm glad Luke is realizing how vast and massive anime themes are. There are so many different ones that you can think of something crazy or unique and someone else probably already made it into an anime. I personally stopped wondering a long ago how they come up with such wild ideas but that doesn't make me any less impressed when I find something unique or interesting.
Oh, in case you are wondering, there is an anime where someone was reborn as a vending machine (Jidou Hanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyuu wo Samayou / Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon).
One of the reasons why I've never got bored of or lost interest in anime because there's always something new, different, unique, fresh or familiar. I've watched anime most of my life and there are still some classics I've never seen. Not because I don't want but because it's hard to find time to watch everything: Keeping up with upcoming seasonal anime while also watching some old ones I've yet seen.

I saw it on broadcast, it was quite fun, the theme is different from the usual isekais and the opening itself are memories of Sega games, very old and great.
Man it feels so nice to finally find someone who likes GoH OP. I swear everyone else I know besides you hates it.
As someone who grew up with Alan Walker, TheFatRat, Marshmello, I love EDM and I find the GoH opening really enjoyable to listen to from time to time.
AKLO did a first take 5 days ago, they also made Lost in Paradise (JJK ED1) a while ago and that one is awesome .
To answer your question, as you may know most anime are adaptions of either a Manga or Light novel wich are physcial books that are published by big companies, Webcomics/webtoons on the other hand are published online either free or pay to read by other companies such as webtoon.
The story of the uncle from another world is actually quite good, it's an isekai like slime, konusuba etc. it's just about the uncle coming back from the isekai world

isekai ojisan is great! It's really underrated I assume because the main character is intentionally kind of ugly but it's also super funny.
It's basically an isekai after the main character makes it back to his world and now he's telling stories about his travels to his nephew.

The story of Isekai Ojisan is Uncle got sent to another world and spent 15 years in this world in a coma. When he wakes up his nephew takes him in and finds out he can still use his otherworld powers. And uses them to show his nephew his adventures.

Unlce from another world is as story about an boy who finished his adventure in an isekai world and returned to the modern world 17 years later.
He's a huge Sega fanboy who likes Sonic the heghog and many other Sega product only find that Sega lost the console wars.
He moves in with his nephew and uses the magic he got from his isekai adventure to show off and recount his adventure via a magical video player to his nephew and nephew's girlfriend-to-be.
Isekai Ojisan is one of my favorite isekai. I had begun reading it before Netflix started airing it. I think it flew under the radar, since Netflix doesn’t always do a good job of advertising their anime exclusives, at least in the US. There was also a production gap that it took some of the last episodes to be completed, and even longer before Netflix added them, months after they had already aired in Japan.
There are so many isekai, that they’re now trying to come up with different angles. This isn’t wholly original, as others have done similar concepts, but I do think this one executed it the best. The OP does spoil the premise at the end. (It’s not like Gate.)

Uncle from another world is literally on pair with Eminence as top funniest isekai series ever, so hopefully youll check second season of Eminence and after that at some point give a go to sooo underrated Uncle, specially if you want to have a truly great time of your life!!!

God of Highschool is pretty much high school students beating each other up. The whole show is one giant martial arts tournament, nothing but fights....but the fights are epic. The director is the same guy who would go on to direct Jujutsu Kaisen (0 and s1). He also did Garo: Vanishing Line, which is an iteration of a long-running tokusatsu (transforming superhero) franchise.
You should react to the ending for Black Bullet.

Uncle from Another World is a great HILARIOUS anime, one of the most popular shows of the season it came out. Highly recommend.
God of Highschool on the other hand, its EXTREMELY disappointing. It has great fight animation, but the plot and characters are all extremely sub-par, without exception.
