  • A look at some of the Unique Animations/situations, Cameos and references in a bunch of Street Fighter Games.
Kind of like the MvC 'Special Partners' video, this is a video that leans on some of the awesome stuff already in Street Fighter but also features hella editing to make it as hype as possible. Also, as I want these videos to always be clearly made by someone passionate about the games and the genre, it has some tasty combos and insight in there too.
I put a bunch of hours into KOF'96, Art of Fighting 3, Fatal Fury 3 and Rival schools (although that footage is over the credits) in order to have some cool combos when referencing their respective characters cameos.
Again, kind of like the 'Special Partner' video, the length of the video and density of the editing meant that actually having a final draft I was happy with, took much longer and included much more work than I thought it would (I started getting footage for this the same day as my last upload). However, I'm really happy with the end result.
    Hope you enjoy it too!

    Amazing job.
I just want to point some observations:
    1) Ingrid & Blanka special intro change the fruits sometimes, but if it is done with a watermelon, a different thing will happen.
    2) Guy vs Cody special intro (one being CPU-controlled), the item Guy will take in CPS-II (and 30th Anniversary Collection), Sega Saturn and the original version at Fighter's Generation will be a gum (a reference to Ed.E). In the other versions it will be a Food (Barbecue), as shown in this video.
    3) Alex vs Hugo special intro is a reference to the fight between Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant.
    4) Mature was first playable in KoF96, but her very first appearence was in KoF94.
    5) Guile vs Rugal special intro was, again, a reference to KoF94.

I sure do miss the Street fighter Alpha series. It was very joyous to see that type of love and commitment put into that era. You don't see much of that these days. Just to observe characters on certain stages and backgrounds was like the coolest thing ever 😁 Capcom was the coolest on collabs and crossovers. They really made the game worlds connect and characters come to life. Street fighter Alpha 3 is still the GOAT 😁
