A men's shirt gives real scope for creativity. It can be used to make many useful things, such as an apron, children's clothing, pillows, oven mitts, bags, pet clothes, napkins and much more.
It’s also easy to turn a male model into a female one. And for this you don’t need to radically alter it. Today I will show you how, with the help of knitted inserts, a shirt will change, become feminine, and not a trace will remain of the masculine style.
To work you will need a strip of thin knitwear. I took a width of 10 cm. Using this strip I will make something like a yoke.
First, I marked the places on the shirt where the insert would be sewn. To make it symmetrical, I drew a paper template.
1) Placed the insert in a circle: on the shelves and back. She stretched the bottom and pulled the top edge together.
2) I basted the bottom of the insert to the shirt and stitched it. Then I made a cut to sew in the top insert. Then I decided to fold the fabric on the shirt and sew it on top to the insert.
3) There will be cuffs on the sleeves. To do this, you need to try on the shirt and note how much you need to cut to get the desired length.
4) I measured the width of the cuffs according to myself, sewed the seams and folded the fabric in half. I sewed the cuffs to the sleeves using an overlocker.
With this method, the size and style remained the same, only the sleeves became shorter. But the appearance has changed.
Thus, the inserts can be inserted anywhere on the garment. And if the shirt is small, then sew knitted inserts into the side seams and into the seams on the sleeves.

мала становится обычно, когда поправляешься - взрослые люди ведь не растут. Значит, пройма рукава слишком узкая или полочки не сходятся , сами рукава , если фасон прилегающий - что-то типа жилета можно сделать со вставками в боковых швах , вырез проймы увеличить и тд
