The first one, is a political nightmare in the USA. Definitely raises a few questions…
I miss the days when Dust gave us *new shorts 3x a week and these compilations were Sunday Night Dust...not this re-hash of throwback stuff 3-4x a week 🤷♂
Be greatful for what you have
I keep time traveling back to this moment and try to fix the Sunday night Dust, but it keeps happening. 😮
Not much new stuff ,lately... Dust is following protocol by honouring the Screen writers Guild ongoing labour action (striking) since May.
Yeah, I agree but.... a lot of the shorts shown in the past we're older too anyway which I have seen elsewhere already. This, the relatively small amount of really newly produced short films, plus the aforementioned writer's strike show their impact.
@@0neIntangiblethe strikes are over
The first chapter is a scary imagination of just how far coercion of women not to exercise their rights could go.
If only it was limited to 'just' coercion, just carrot and no stick. At the moment it's all stick and no carrot. Women in the USA are routinely killed by 'pro-life' laws.
Regards from a Tom :)
the last one...WOW!
I like this. Some of them I must have missed the first time around.
I waited so many years to see indigo (french)
Excellent stories. Just what I needed this morning. Thank you Dust!!!
Yoshimi is beautiful.
He should not leave.
Trauma creates fantasy
illusions to cope.
I knew the ROBOT
was the announcer.
Good film. Thanks
Thanks for having CC enabled
0:20 Ovum
7:53 Who Among Us
20:44 Indigo
Nicely made
This Sunday morning and e thing will be hers.
🤔 Why is it Heroine and not shero?
That last one was well done. Kept you wondering if it all was true or not.
"Who Among Us" - You could tell a few seconds in, from his verbiage, that the host was the machine.
Why would you comment a spoiler? Is there any point of watching the second one now?
Bad with a capital B, the poor mans black mirror.
Nice. Good soundtrack!
Has Cartman Kathleen Kennedy taken over Dust?
2nd one I thought the compare was the fake but well done anyway
It's a story of narcissism by the looks of it early on
38:42 so did he commit suicide? Im confused
Yes. But, the director did leave it a little open so maybe the boat wasn't a recovery but a search party.
I don't think Takumi intentionally committed suicide. With all the drugs he had been on, he probably really believed there was a spaceship waiting for him. Sad. I just can't figure out the motivation for making this film.
I don't think he committed suicide, either. I think the motivation is a message saying that drugs don't fix the problem, only mask it. People on a lot of meds like he was need to be monitored for odd behavior before tragedy strikes.
That is one valid interpretation, yet.
Just did a comment and the whole page erased. Came back to leave a comment. WTF
We still don't know your original comment. Wha...?
really
Yes.
Great 👍🏾
Ok so was he mental and lost in a fantasy or did he get 'beamed up?'
Yes.
@@ThomasPCGuruENGINES 🤣🤣 oh 💩 Hahahaha
Well, rescue boats don't normally pick up aliens who have joined the mother ship so...
Good question. After seeing something that looked more like a car than a spaceship, then what looked like Doka and a possible silhouette of Takumi, I'm inclined to believe he didn't make it because it had all been an hallucination. There never was any ship coming for him. The ship was only going to wait for 60 seconds? The fall alone, probably took more than 60 seconds. Believe his death will be viewed as, like his mother, a suicide. Poor Grandma, having to deal with this hurt again. With all of the drugs he had been prescribed, it's no wonder. Is this film a PSA for or against drug therapy for mental health? I don't know. Questions - that's all I'm left with after this short film.
It's deliberately left open to interpretation. Either he was the prince of Sirius B and he successfully returned home, or he was over-medicated to the point of delusion, and his death will be viewed as yet another suicide.
or Androids
we dont need ai cuz that will happen
Someone has ripped off Trent Reznor's music in the 3rd film. It's taken from the track 'Something I Can Never Have, by Nine Inch Nails. That's not cool.
It's not identical, but definitely inspired by Reznor's work, for sure.
Part 1 - Looks like a 'Future life with child' simulator". Might make some people think twice about being a parent... Very original idea. Acting was OK. 👍👍
Part 2 - I believe this is a repeat 👎. Acting was poor. 👎
Part 3 - Very original story 👍, but most of the actors left a lot to be desired. 👎
why & HOW are any of the contestants winning 4500 million dollar$??
is it because the winner is the one who FOOLED/tricked the public? so the one who does this WINS the bounty??
or is the one who IS NOT the android...WINS??
because the public was fooled?
because I say for every single human person voting, THEY should be eligible for sharing in the winning, and all in the audience who got it wrong, they should be eliminated, it should be like THAT because, otherwise, the prize allocation makes NO SENSE!
so, whoever in the audience got it WRONG, they're out of the running.
and whoever gets it right? still IN & down to the wire, down to the last of the remaining voting participants.
\meaning, whoever remaining who gets it right should share the winnings equally with whoever of the final 2 android candidates remains standing as the ONE that/who fooled the other side of the vote.
and to say:
I stopped the video before the end because, early on, I've been considering the EXACT way the words were spoken. and so, I consider *ALL* the candidates might not be obvious.
ALL the candidates, for which one is the android, imho seems to also INCLUDE, not only the judges but also the pro experts featured AND the weird host/presenter, umm hmmm.🤔
which means NOW - or at least within a few minutes - I'm going to watch the end of the video..which means, I'll learn whether or not I've been over-analyzing the script..for actual LOGIC? because I say that not only should the android win for tricking the public..but the voters who got it right should also be given an generous financial prize, too!
Will watch later just from the thumbnail chick
😂❤
Bit too much preachiness in first video...
That? Is propaganda bs! Boo x 10
who among us is so cringe what, so hard to watch
