Excellent buy, I too bought a second hand ecosport 2 months before the Ford Closure (Diesel , white, Titanium). But i never regret as still its one of the best vehicle in this segment. I had a choice to buy 2016 and 2017 models, which suits my budget, but gone with 2016 as the same variant is more featured then 2017 with a driver side hand rest (which is very useful in long drives), lumbar support, electrochromatic mirror (really useful in cities) as well as automated wipers & lights, but the center screen is LCD. As rightly said, clutch is little bit hard compared to Hyundai or Maruthi. If it is too hard it can be resolved easily (I did). The clutch assembly consists of two cylinders- a master cylinder (attached to clutch lever) and a slave cylinder (attached to the clutch assembly). Its only required to change the master cylinder, which costs nominal. There is no need to replace the clutch. No doubt, its a safe car which is pure value for money.

Parts ഒക്കെ വേഗം കിട്ടും.. എൻജോയ് ചെയ്തു ഓടിക്കാൻ ഇത്ര സുഖം ഉള്ള വണ്ടികൾ കിട്ടണമെങ്കിൽ ഇനി ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണ്... 1.5 ലക്ഷം km ആയി.. ഇപ്പോളും ഓടിക്കുമ്പോൾ നല്ല ഒരു ഫീലിംഗ് ആണ് 🙂

I own ecosport s 2019 diesel model. During the closure of the company i faced a lot of mind games from vehicle brokers & individuals to buy this from me. Many of the people i knew, sold this car and went to Nexon or venue. But later I saw the same people regret for their decision. This is a superior machine. Great performance, good mileage (21easybon high ways ,cities 14-15 avg). Only downside is 205/50/r17 tyres

Hi, Yes undu only for few cars sold in the Initial batch. The problem is excessive oil consumption (which was a manufacturing defect of engine block) but i heard ford recalled the affected cars and replaced the engine under warranty. But not sure if every 2013 ecosport owner's had been a part of this recall. Better buy from the 2014 model onwards and buy 2013 only after proper inspection.
