The first time I found that on dells I was as shocked as you... now, it's an everyday thing. BTW, that diagnostic tool has been on professional dells since Dell Latitude E6400 ERA 2008 and Dell Optiplex ERA 2008 as well. The professional Dells have had a mouse bios since 2008 and the consumer Dells still have a old school blue and gray keyboard bios like what you would find on an old acer.
