- I have ridden over 1000 different roller coasters, but some were more difficult for me to ride than others. These were due to a myriad of reasons- weather, technical issues, or park policies. In this video, I discuss some of the stories around these elusive coaster credits.

Honestly this channel sets the bar for other channels. Such a great video idea and very well executed
Thank you!
Definitely agree this is an awesome channel that always pushes to provide different and interesting things around coasters. Awesome! 👌
I 100% agree with this. It rivals that of eltororyan and coaster college with the production value and just good execution like you said.
This channel sets the bar
Totally agree. Found your channel not too long ago and I love your content! It's great to see somebody who acknowledges all rides, not just coasters.
I'm so happy that lil phantom has no height limit because I'll likely be visiting at a time where I'll hit 100 creds at the park, and it's my life goal to have Lil Phantom as my 100th coaster
🤩🤩🤩
I hope you're not relying on all of Kennywood's other coasters to be open to do that!
Yes
I operate it myself, hope to see you there :)
Canobie Coaster wdym? SCurr had some mechanical issues, but that was really it.
That lighting rod story is awesome now that's a true enthusiast right there!
Dedication!
[Lightning rod has entered the chat]
Took me so many tries!
Damn I guess I got lucky! Got it my first try
Y’all actually got to ride?
I'm sure the hardest credit for an enthusiast to ever get would be Twist Coaster Robin at Yomiuriland. As it opened on March 19th 2014 and on that same day and not too long after the grand opening, 2 trains somehow collided. Luckily, there were no reported injuries but the park stated that it was damaged beyond repair and it remained SBNO from the collision till 2016 which was when the park scrapped the coaster. They never stated why it was damaged beyond repair and why it couldn't reopen (Yes, really).
Japan is strict on accidents so having one on the opening day looked bad.
great narration as always! your 20 minute videos feel like 5 minutes! very interesting from start to finish.
Glad you enjoyed!
Excellent video! So many interesting, relatable details. And this is also useful for reference for future trips - especially the list of tricky park operating hours at the beginning.
Skyline Park is the king of odd hours but I knew that going in.
@@CanobieCoaster I hate doing cred runs, but after driving through greater Munich traffic, I was reduced to a cred run at Skyline before I had to drive off to Regensburg to meet a friend. But I successfully managed to do all their wacky coasters - even the Butterfly!
This was a really fun topic and video, I enjoyed listening to your stories. It's amazing just how many you got while cutting it close. Here are a few of mine:
Wild Wind at Circle of Fun in the Philippines. At the time, there was very limited information on this coaster, just a pictureless RCDb page and a tourist page that looked like it hadn't been updated in years, so I was skeptical the ride even existed. Couple that with very heavy traffic on the way to the park, and I was more than happy to find the ride actually existed (even though the ride rode like death).
Star Flyer at Star City in the Philippines. Earlier that same trip, we went to Star City, and I was excited at the prospect of riding a rare Pinfari invert, but it was closed the entire day we were there. I had never been so disappointed to see a Pinfari closed. A few days later, after riding Wild Wind, traffic had cleared up, and we would be going right by Star City on our way to where we were staying, so we swung by Star City and found the ride open.
Seaside Heights coasters. When my family was dropping me off at my apartment to begin my junior year of college, we were going to stop by Seaside Heights to hit the coasters. An hour and a half into the five hour drive, I realized I left my student ID at my parents' house. So we had to turn around, drive back, pick it up, and hit the road again. Luckily, we gave ourselves enough time that we were able to ride all of the coasters in town. Three months later, Hurricane Sandy hit.
Tumbleweed at Adventure Park USA. I tried to ride this kiddie coaster when it was at Jolly Roger Amusement Park, but the operator denied us. Later on, the coaster was moved to Adventure Park USA, where they let me on without a second glance.
That's awesome you got to Seaside Heights before the Miler fell into the ocean! Those Philippines coasters definitely look unique and I was glad to see your video on some of them.
I’m currently going down the coast visiting any park that’s open so this topic intrigues me the most .Another great one Canobie 🥃🤌🏽
Thanks!
Excellent video, this is a really great topic to discuss. I have had many issues with several of the same credits that you had, and you are fortunate that you were able to get on all of those. I have still not been able to ride Harley Quinn at Discovery Kingdom or lightning rod despite going to the park several times. It also took me three visits to Cedar point to finally get on dragster and even then it only operated for about 5 hours that day. Thanks for making these videos, you produce great content!
Thank you! You dodged a bullet with Harley Quinn, but that stinks on Lightning Rod.
@@CanobieCoaster oh I heard about Harley. I was sort of surprised that Kong wasn't worse, it was my first SLC and it wasn't honestly the worst ride. I liked it better than their boomerang.
Awesome video great comments and very informative. Hope the ankle is better, and keep up the fantastic work!!!
It's much better now a few years later.
Oh jeez, glad you mentioned Tornado in Madrid. We had a nightmare because of their policy of filling trains - particularly annoying on Tornado when the station was full of unused water dummies they could have used :/
I'm glad I rode it once.
This was a really informative video, gained some tips for these creds, thanks!
You're welcome!
I rode Volcano at KD in 2015. I had no idea at the time that it was temperamental, and I’m very glad I scored the credit
Nice!
One time when i was little and still afraid of rollercoasters i had the opportunity to ride it. I was too scared so I didn't. One of my biggest regrets
I recently got a ride on Flying Turns, I know it can be a hard credit to get- so I feel blessed to have got the chance to ride it! Love the video as always my friend!
Thanks!
That story about being covered in grease is awesome!
Worth it.
@@CanobieCoaster I have been there done that on a newly installed Zamperla Mega Discovery at the park I worked for. Quite an experience to leave a ride smelling like a grease pit.
1:37 I love Blue Flash at the Washington State Fair
Whoops
Blue Flash would give those looping fair coasters a run for its money lol
Same
This was a lot of fun to watch lol
Glad you liked it!
Another Awesome video! ☺ 💜 I was so frustrated on your behalf, about your troubles trying to ride Lightning Rod! Sheesh! It was like giving birth, just for you to get that 1st ride! My goodness! lol I am just glad that you finally got to ride it, and that you love it! 💜
Thanks! It was very rewarding when I finally got on it.
@@CanobieCoaster It truly does look like a great Coaster! 😊💜 I also think that you have an amazing tenacity to get your Coaster credits! It is like the old saying, "if at first, you don't succeed, try, try again"! You take that, to a whole other level! 💜 💜 ☺
Wow after that I think I’m spoiled because my “hardest” credit was titan and shockwave at six flags over Texas just because I found it really hard to find them took me 3 trips to get them
Those two are a pain to find!
Had no problems with Ravine Flyer 3 on the Saturday after the 4th this year, but it was a walk on because it was still somewhat early, and we got 2 laps in a row!
Nice!
Ngl, Son of Beast is a pretty hard credit to get these days
Lol
I think it would be very difficult to get any defunct credits.
Not until Kings Island resurrects it lol
I was in the Lake George area on a family vacation in July of 2019, and we spent some time at The Great Escape. Alpine Bobsled was closed almost all times we were at the park. During a specific time frame one day, I heard the roar of the train on the bobsled track and booked it over there. I got two rides on it and even met a couple enthusiasts! It was my second favorite coaster in the park
Glad you got on it. The roar helps tell if it's open.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah, that can be a tough one to get on. If its damp, it won't run. Plus, it was almost constantly broken.
A few comments:
I also got on Scandia Screamer on a Sunday night was I was driving back from Vegas after riding Manhattan Express and Desperado, which is another tricky one to get. I got the back row on Scandia and it was awesome!
I recently got shut out on Aftershock on Silverwood. Despite the temp being over 60 degrees they didn't run it at all that day because it was after Labor Day. I will just go back this summer and get it and Stunt Pilot.
I also got shut out on Iron Shark at Galveston Pleasure Pier. I checked with the park that it was going to open, which it was suppose to. After I was done at Kemah I drove down and sat right by it for 2-3 hours. No activity. I had to leave to go to San Antonio, so I missed out.
The only coaster I recall having to do the walk of shame was Woodstock Express at California Great America. I just couldn't fit in that one for some reason. I have been on a bunch of kiddie coasters but for some reason that one didn't work.
I have been to Cedar Point 4 times since 2018. I am batting .500 on Top Thrill Dragster. I did get 14 rides on it the 2 multi day trips so I feel pretty good, and half of those were front row rides.
Lightning Rod- I have been extremely lucky and it has not had any major down time. It has gone down for weather or less than an hour while I have been in the park, but I have not gone and not been able to ride it.
Harley Quinn at SFDK and Tidal Twister (SWSD)- Have been down every time I have been in those parks. If I'm going to miss credits, those are 2 I feel good about missing.
I've missed Tidal Twister a few times as well, but I don't lose sleep over that one.
Well, I had the brilliant idea to visit Florida this past spring break and Hagrid's was seriously a pain to ride. I had 2 days at Universal and didn't even get to ride it the first day because virtual line reservations were very limited but I managed to get one the second day! It was worth it in the end!
Glad you got on it.
In the move "Final Destination 3", Canobie Coaster would be the guy wondering when the coaster would be fixed so he could ride it, after witnessing a dozen people die.
I've never seen an accident when a ride has been closed. Usually it's a sensor fault or something.
Some of my most difficult credits that I have obtained:
Lightning Rod: my first visit to Dollywood was when Lightning Rod had the part recall and it's motor catching on fire. It started testing the day I left lol. Got three rides on it in later visits.
Primeval Whirl: one side is harder to get since it only runs during busier times of the year, and they randomly choose which side you go in. I happened to finally get the second side when it was operating seasonally on it's last Christmas
Tempesto: was actually broken down on my first two attempts to ride it in 2015 and 2018. Third time was the charm in 2019.
Three kiddie coasters operated by EK Fernandez: was flying to visit my dad in Hawaii, and it just so happened that the day I landed also was the final day of their state fair. The ride operator had three kiddie coasters at that fair, so I went there after lunch and rode all three of them. It was the last year of operation for one of those coasters too.
I got Primeval Whirl several years ago and it was easy to get both sides. One was standby and one was Fastpass.
I drove 12 hours to go to Dollywood and ride Lightning Rod. I had been checking to make sure it was up and running and it was. It broke down while I was driving and wouldn't open until i had left. I think it's sort of a rite of passage to go to Dollywood and not ride Lightning Rod.
I didn't even think Ravine Flyer 3 might be an issue. Fortunately, the crowds were light for me too, and nobody was riding it at the time. Same thing with the one at SFA.
Alpine Bobsled opened late on my one and only day there. When I heard it running, I hurried over and got in line before the Saturday crowd filled the queue, and I had a minimal wait. 15 minutes after my ride, it broke down for the day. I got very lucky there, especially with how far away I live from that park.
You're definitely lucky getting on Alpine Bobsled like that coming from a distance.
My toughest credit obtained is Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America. I had many visits to my home park (5+) and it was never open. Finally, the had a coasters after dark event when it was open. That was the only time it was open in the years it was at SFGAM.
I know those giant inverted boomerangs can be elusive.
Top Thrill 2 is honestly the answer to ending the OG Dragsters frustrating unreliability even if the hydraulic launch has sacrificed in favor of a LSM.
I hope the ride runs reliably. It will be a big win for Zamperla and Cedar Point.
I had a similar situation to Boomerang at Worlds of Fun with Xcelerator at Knott's. I was on a school trip and I saw it testing from opening and then it opened, so of course I rushed into the queue and got in the shortest car, which was the last car. It went around the course and broke down while I was on it on the brake run and never reopened for the rest of the day.
At least you got on it!
My toughest credit that I have yet to get is Excalibur at Valleyfair, as it doesn't operate during haunt.
Ober Gatlinburg's mountain coaster felt like if Ron Toomer himself designed it. I liked it surprisingly.
The Ober mountain coaster is shockingly jerky for the genre.
I can't really think of many coasters that have given me issues trying to ride them. When I did visit Fiesta Texas for my first visit last August, Wonder Woman was closed for most of the day. I even asked the workers by the entrance if they thought it would open and they said it would be down for the whole weekend. Luckily about an hour before leaving the park I saw them testing trains and I was able to get two rides in on it. One in the very front row and one in the very back row. I'm glad I got that credit because I was disappointed when I heard it wouldn't be opening for the whole weekend.
Lucky!
At the moment the most difficult credit I tried to achieve (and still haven't achieved) is Desmo Race at Mirabilandia.
I was at the park for three days in 2019, and Desmo opened just for one hour in all the three days.
I ran to get in line, but there were already two hours of waiting time, and after one hour the ride closed for technical issues.
I saw that ride closed on my 2019 visit.
When I went to the Midwest back in 2018, there was a storm system that went east as I went east and it was really bad. At KI, the park closed around 4 because of a tornado warning. At CP, it started raining sporadically and everything had to close, reopen, and close again. I got only 1 ride on SteVe in the night, but no ride on Maverick or Raptor. Hersheypark was just shut down because they were flooded up to 3 feet in the park. Luckily, I went back in 2019 and it didn't flood.
I had some issues with storms at Kings Island last year for rerides.
This is a very interesting video and topic! Enthusiasts should be weary of these rare rides and the extra effort needed!
Thank you!
Correct me if I’m wrong but is Conneaut Lake Park the most run down park in America?
Camden Park gives it a run for its money.
This coaster channel is my new favorite it was coaster studios but I love your Ideas
Thank you!
Weird, I’ve never heard about adults being turned away from Great Chase. How long ago was that visit
Beginning of the 2018 season.
What is that first coaster with the blue track?
First one shown as soon as the video starts
Hurricane at Fun Spot Kissimmee.
Cornball Express has always been open whenever I've gone to Indiana Beach, but I've never been able to get on the Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain. I think they also have staffing shortages there, so there are not enough employees to always keep all of the attractions open.
I think it had a bad day when I went in 2017. It ran fine for me in 2020.
I went to Silver Dollar City a few days ago, and as I got to the station of Wildfire, it broke down and didn’t open for the rest of the day. It was a shame I didn’t get to ride it but the rest of the park more than made up for it.
Wildfire is usually pretty reliable so that's unfortunate.
The hardest for me was dragon wagon owned by Elliot’s amusements, I’m a Michigan Navive and it’s always at my local fair but I had a hard time fitting. The trains had no cushioning and the lap bars were solid metal and I came off bloody and bruised, it also went around 27 times. Atleast I got the credit, I’ll spend my time riding the cortina bob break dance instead
I can see how that would be tricky.
You mentioned organizers, where can I find info on group trips for coaster enthusiasts?
A lot have temporarily paused trips due to covid.
I was lucky enough to get on Top Thrill my second visit to Cedar Point. It was shutdown for maintenance while we were waiting in line. It worked in our favor as half the line left and it was only down for a 45 minutes and we got right on. It was hands down the craziest coaster I’ve been on.
Glad you got on!
Great idea for a video
Thanks!
Got a ride on Goliath at Six Flags New England when it opened at the end of the day. That was my first visit to the park so I was stoked to get that credit! Unfortunately it's pretty rough.
It was much better with the old trains.
That was closed when I was there, but I wasn't particularly sad about that.
Alternate video title: How to get these credits if you don’t have a car.
Hard mode.
That's essentially all of Japan or even Asia as a whole
11:00 Covered in grease? How do you get all the ERT's? Is that with ACE or something?
TPR
Really enjoyed this creative video idea! Have you ever traveled with Theme Park Review??
Yes I have!
@@CanobieCoaster did you like it??
Thunderbolt broke down on my first visit to Kennywood. Got to ride it several time when I returned two years later, visiting my sister who was going to an arts school in Pittsburgh.
Knobels Amusement Park. OK, so I got to do Phoenix and Twister, not to mention that great haunted house ride. But it’s easy to get lost finding that place.
Tobo Zoo, probably because a lot of people don’t know about the existence of this Japanese park, which is about a hours train ride from Tokyo. It’s home to a great Intamin steel coaster called Kawasimi (which means kingfisher in Japanese), and a large woodie named Regina. Regina isn’t too bad, it sort of reminded me of Timber Wolf at Worlds of Fun-it’s rough, but not unpleasant like Mean Streak, and you do get some airtime. However Regina was closed down for good more than a year ago, and I think it actually got town down. Apparently it was a maintenance nightmare.
Thunder Dolphin at the Tokyo Dome was a rather strange story. They ran out of tickets, so I was unable to ride. Returned the following day, I managed to ride. They have a good log flume ride too, and a walk through haunted house that was inspired by the “Ringu” and “Jun-On” movies.
Ran out of tickets? That's an odd one!
Going to Hersheypark very soon. Any tips for spending 8 hours in the park and getting the most out of it?
Do you have a season pass or ability to use the preview plan the day prior? If yes, start with Candymonium and go clockwise through the Hollow. If you don't have either, start with Fahrenheit and LaffTrak. Then work forwards.
Saw the thumbnail, clicked!!! I know your pain. IMHO, places like Indiana Beach and Waldemeer are tough as heck but the ultimate in difficulty is Little Amerikka in Wisconsin. Middle. Of. Nowhere!!!
Little Amerricka wasn't too bad to add onto Great America and the Dells.
@@CanobieCoaster I’m from Canada. Not an easy stretch.
I'm surprised that Pteranodon Flyers at IoA wasn't on the list. Another coaster that requires adults to ride with children.
I hate that I couldn’t ride that recently
That's not on there because I haven't been able to ride it. Maybe once I have a child one day I can.
Oh yeah! Couldn't ride that one because no way was my kid consenting to go on it.
I miss the Scandina Screamer. I loved that park. So sad to see it go!
Me too.
Being a coaster fan and riding coasters for credits is like being a Pokemon trainer and catching Pokemon for your Pokedex.
Some coasters credits are hard just like some Pokemon are hard to catch.
Good comparison.
I almost forgot about my only day at Discovery Kingdom, a very busy Saturday, so I bought platinum flash pass. Medusa was closed the first 7 hours, so I gave up on it ever opening, then the device buzzed, saying it was open. I left the Joker line and hurried over and got a few quick rides before going back to Joker. Harley Quinn remained a statue, but I'm not too sad about that miss.
You dodged a bullet on Harley Quinn.
One that has been immensely troubling for me to get on has been Cheetah Hunt. The last 2 times I've been to the park, it has broken down. The first time, it was raining constantly, and the second time we waited in line for 45 minutes, and right as we were gonna get on it, it broke down. So, we waited another 30 minutes in line for it to open, and 2 minutes after we left the line, it opened up. Getting back in line was not an option because it now had an hour and a half wait and we didn't have much time left in the park. So we used the last bit of our time marathoning Sheikra.
That one is usually pretty reliable. It just always has a line for me.
@@CanobieCoaster Ya, the wait time can get really long because it is the definition of a GP magnet.
The content I need
Hope you enjoyed it!
I'm going on my first trip ever to Cedar Point for 2 days in June and the 2 coasters that i'm most nervous about potentially missing out on the credits are SteVe and Dragster. Cuz I know both draw extremely long lines (even with Fastlane +) and have lots of down time. At least, i'll be going on a Tues and a Weds, so hopefully it won't be too extremely crowded
Me and my wife went to Cedar Point for the first time in 2019 and we had a blast. We had 2 days at the park and glad we did because TTD was closed the first day but open the 2nd. We live on the West Coast so we were pretty excited when we found out we got a chance to go to Cedar Point.
Steel Vengeance is pretty reliable. It sometimes opens late, but it doesn't usually go down once open.
Hey, Canobie Coaster! I will be riding Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Universal's Islands Of Adventure. However, I heard that the ride has periods of downtime, much like Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka.
It has run much better since the covid 19 shutdown. It didn't have any noticeable downtime today!
I like this video, it's something a little different. For me, I would say TTD as it was closed I think 3 or 4 times that day but I only have a few credits.
That's a popular answer for everyone.
That's odd you weren't able to get on Great Chase at first. Idk if it used to be different or something, but that ride doesn't have a height requirement. Also kinda funny, but that ride is at my home park, and I didn't get the credit until december, 2019 because I guess I just never felt like wasting time on it while simultaneously looking like a weirdo lol
I got it last year finally.
What were they doing with Pyrenees when you rode it to get covered in greese?
It rained so the track lubricant fell on us. I wore a white shirt and came off a dalmatian.
You earned each credit😂😊
Yes I did.
Homie had a train to catch and risked a second lap anyway. Legend!
It could have backfired tremendously.
Great chase is a clone of the white coaster at sfmm right?
Yes
Diamond back was a clone at the defunct fun spot right?
Yes
Ravine Flyer 3 used to ban adults from riding unless you had a child when it opened in 2000. I believe they removed that rule around the 2010 season so I'm not sure what problem you might of have because I always get a ride whenever I'm there. With Waldameer as my home park, I'm not sure what the issue was :/
I rode it so I'm good now!
Steep chase looks awesome and relaxing tbh
It is.
It took me years to ride kingda ka and that’s in my home park.
Definitely understand!
i never had a problem with boomerang at worlds of fun being down, it has always been reliable for me, mamba probably has more downtime than boomerang, and i visit that park a lot, i am sorry that you have bad luck riding it
I'm glad Mamba has been more reliable for me.
Can you recommend any enthusiast groups? I am not too pleased with ACE.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with many groups.
For me, its 4d free spins for some reason, I've been to 4 parks that have them yet I can't seem to get on them
I used to have bad luck with those.
I went to Universal and islands of adventure for spring break but all the rides you have to get a registration for where sold out so no mummy and hagrids motorbike ride even jimmy falcons I mean what?
I heard Universal has been busy.
I love the idea of you riding a Jet Star with a stranger. It would've been more interesting if it wasn't a one and done!
I wish single riders could ride it like the one at Indiana Beach.
I dont think ill ever get to stickers grove because I'm only 14 so Idk if it will be opened by then
It should be around for a while.
How many trips to Europe have you done?
3
On my first visit to Dollywood. I didn't even get on lightning Rod. It had an 145 min wait, 1 train and kept going down a lot
I'm sorry!
Did you ever get on Pirates Hideaway at Casino Pier? That piece of junk is never open when I go
Yes, I've never had issues with that one.
That’s probably going away soon
I rode Pirate’s Hideaway this season,it’s was dreadful and my new 5 worst coasters I’ve ridden
I've always have had easy times getting on top thrill Dragster. I've also been on Hollywood dream and flying dinosaur. Solid coasters. In my opinion
I admit my circumstances for Hollywood Dream and Flying Dinosaur were not normal.
How was your night rides on all your favorite roller coaster
The ones in the woods are particularly awesome.
this man is dedicated
I'm patient.
Can you make that video showing coasters in hard countries to visit and how one would have to have authorization? Do it based on visa requirements for different places.
I've never had to apply in advance for a visa, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to make an educated video on that.
I was able to get 6 of these credits. I honestly don't try to get kiddie coaster credits. Unless it is really unique but carnival coasters or simple or cloned layouts, I'm good.
I always go for the kiddie coaster unless it is a major time investment.
I do if I’m feeling it
Are you ever making a coaster trip to Australia.
Especially considering their summer is the off season in Murica and the huge surge of amazing coasters there including Superman, DC Rivals, Big Dipper, Steel Taipan, and Leviathan
My fiancee and I are eyeing Australia for a honeymoon so it'll be a combo coaster and culture trip.
Joker is a underrated rmc harly Quinn was closed when I was there too :/
No loss on Harley.
I don't bother with kiddie coasters. Top Thrill Dragster was always a chore to try and ride for me. It's sister coaster Kingda Ka also gave me some grief.
Both are annoying to get on.
Why didn’t you call the Steeplechase sides the “Red, green, and yellow” sides?
In case they're ever painted.
Oh ok
Super Grover (FKA Shamu Express) at SWO. I was gonna ride right at the gate, but a thunderstorm closed down the coaster. I managed to get the cred on another SWO trip.
Wildcat (Lake Compounce). I was gonna get on at the gate, but the coaster shut down. The coaster reopened shortly after I left the queue, and I managed to ride it.
Contrastingly, have any coaster creds escaped you permanently? Mine are Avalanche (Timber Falls) and Right side of Colossus (SFMM). I actually went to Rockaways' Playland, but was way too young to ride Atom Smasher.
Hypersonic is the one I regret most. I saw it open on a Sunday but it had a long line. I planned to do it the next day but it was closed due to mechanical issues. It was gone by my next visit.
@@CanobieCoaster Dang, that one stings
@@CanobieCoaster I went to Universal Orlando around 2015 and was having painful digestive troubles that made me unwilling to ride the big coasters (though I did do Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which was arguably as intense as a big coaster, and also Escape from Gringotts). Dragon Challenge was running at the time but I turned it down, and now it's gone.
I guess there are a lot of other credits I could have ridden but missed from being chicken at a tender age, or unwilling to wait in line. BGW's early Schwarzkopf coasters were probably running the first time I went there as a kid. King Kobra and the Galaxi at Kings Dominion. Hersheypark's 1970s Chance Toboggans, though that's probably no big loss. And I guess I missed my chance to ride Roller Soaker on my one visit there as an adult.
I visited a short-lived park in Pennsylvania called Poconos' Magic Valley sometime in the late 70s that had two credits I didn't ride, a Schwarzkopf Wildcat called Screamin' Demon and a kiddie coaster. I suppose I missed riding a lot of Schwarzkopfs.
...and now I'm realizing that one credit I thought I missed was a false memory! I was convinced that Kings Dominion had had a mine-train coaster in the late 70s called Conestoga that I didn't ride. But Kings Dominion never had a mine-train coaster. I now realize I'm probably mixing up memories of KD's steam train ride, and Hersheypark's wagon-themed HUSS Rainbow called Conestoga.
I love how little shame you have over Kiddie Credits 😂😂
Yup!
Blue flash is still operating right?
At a new location in Columbus, yes.
What’s a half hour VRT? 17:57
Meant ERT, exclusive ride time.
@@CanobieCoaster oh
Lightning Rod malfunctioned twice today but I was, luckily, still able to get 2 rides with a TimeSaver pass.
Sounds like the same old Lightning Rod.
Must have gotten to Nickelodeon Universe when Shredder was running more reliably because I got 2 rides on it
I didn't have issues in my most recent visit.
Hardest credit ever for me (I still haven't gotten it), is Untamed at Walibi Holland. I went to Walibi Holland because of Untamed and when I got there it was closed for the day.
That's a bummer!
Also shredder kept shutting down cuz kids kept getting sick. Poor guys. And I got a rollback (my first ever on a launch coaster) on Sandy's rocket ride or whatever it's called. Pls lemme know the actual name as I'm too lazy to look it up
I haven't heard of Sandy's Blasting Bronco having many rollbacks. Did they just reset and relaunch it?
RIP Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake. I noticed that you had a picture of Thunderbolt because of the partner requirement. Usually the Operators at the station will either have you wait till another single rider boards, or they will ride with you. There is in important reason for this Policy. A single rider might not survive, because you might get tossed out of the train
I completely get why the policy is in place. That's good they'll try to pair riders.
Both times I've rode Thunderbolt my dad rode with me, so I was lucky ^^
8 wanted to go on superman krypton in 2019 but I chickened out p,US it was 2 hr wait so....
I've never had a bad wait for that ride.
On two separate trips I tried to squeeze in Ober Gatlinburg. Failed both times. Annoying hours.
Did the tram line ruin your timing?
@@CanobieCoaster No. I was in a car both times, but on both occasions I was hoping to squeeze it in after a full day of other stuff. On the second trip, the website said it would still be open, but the actual gate onsite said otherwise.
