What's up with the 4-5 second delays between groups? Fail-He lost control after the front flip and had to be stopped from spinning.. His track was as if he was docking. He held onto his pilot chute during deployment. Might have been a little low also.
Maybe there's a good reason, but I'm surprised your instructor didn't make any attempt to get horizontal separation from you before he deployed. He didn't even turn away. If you'd decided to cut away after deployment, you'd have been practically on top of him.
@@theflyingdonkey7480 Your name tells a lot about you and your parents. I think it is better that skydivers shouldn’t jump with a person like you. This is AFF7 and not check dive. It is not an eliminatory mistake. If he had continued having an out of control spin at that time yes he should fail, he remained stable and deployed without having a line twist
Its cause he lost awareness in his legs. Probably cause he just used them in a way that he hadn't before. Stopping him would have been appropriate after a few more seconds. Give the lad a chance to figure it out

I don't get it. If he were my student - let him choke and calm down this spin. If he can't get it - help him. There's no point to get to another manouver if he fail previous one. Give him TIME - that's how LEARNING in AFF look like. Learning = make and correct mistakes. If He really fail - let him do this mistake and support him with the open. That's my point of view. BTW - i'm not an instructor...
@@misnik1986 I failed to stop spin in time. That’s why instructor caught me. During re-jumping this level the spin did happen again but I was able to handle this before instructor caught me. And re-jump was passed.
He wasn’t able to get stable within 5 seconds of a disorienting maneuver. If he was on his own and couldn’t stop that spin that would be a problem. To pass level 7 and be cleared for solo freefall they have to know you can get stable from all positions within 5 seconds and deploy at the right altitude without assistance. As far as that “track” I’m not sure what that was but it’s not required for level 7

What color are the line handles supposed to be? Red or yellow? I see both colors for the main chute. And usually red for the reserve.

He also needs to get his heels off of his ass. He’s probably backsliding like a mother.

relax a little.. stiff body acts faster and without control

it wasn't a real fail, it was good, I would pass you if I were the instructor, I have seen worse

What kind of shoes is he wearing?
Something like “Merrell MOAB 2 VENT”

Hiking shoes he should not be wearing.
Could someone help me understand why he failed?
Because of rotation - 0:40
