I haven’t watched in a while, what happened?
He had two strokes while attempting to capture an alligator to move it away from a residential neighborhood and was hospitalized for a couple weeks before being discharged back to his family. He’s not done with his recovery, as he’s continuing fight.

Robert, I'm a nurse and a prior military medic and I have taken care of many stroke patients but your recovery thus far is amazing. Praying for your continued recovery. Tight lines and screaming drags from Georgia.
I’m a palm beach county deputy sheriff and had a stroke on duty treated at ST Mary’s
My right side is paralyzed. I’m not getting better like Robert why?

@jaimeofarrill3309 when it comes to strokes, time is the key. @deermeatfordinner and his friends recognized the symptoms and got help immediately and the ER staff was able to treat him quickly with clot busting agents to lessen the risk of long-term damage.
Mate....i am a stroke survivor. But now i speak a few languages and still love my tight lines! The difference is mine happened in infancy.
Here to tell you through my exp and several other that i have been a part of. Having support en masse is a huge part of healing! Bro you literally have millions praying for you. On top of that...staying positive is another large lart of it. One day i dream to go fishing with you and your awesome family!

You have done an excellent job raising and providing for them and taking them on adventures I wish I had as a child. And teaching them about nature and hunting and life outside of the house. Robert, PRO-TIP: Those first few dives for your pup can be stressful. Their job is to always know where their "pack leader" is. When young, I always had something like jerky to bring back to the boat to reassure my dog. (Hell, lol, I still do it, and he's 7 years now.)

Rob you Had me scared for a minute diving after a stroke. But it's been long enough since you had it to start diving. I remember my own stroke it took me 2 years to even try diving. Then what happens I go and need bypass surgery back in September. So I haven't done any diving this year. But great video as always. God bless you Sarah the girls and your family and crew brother! It just highlights that you're still on your road to recovery and it will take time and practice for all those old skills to come back to par. NW Louisiana now and hunt mainly, but still awesome to see it down there. Keep doing whatever you are doing, it is working. Hope to see some hunting on the new ranch too.
