In MHGen 3ds (not sure if ultimate has it) there is village quest level 5 page 1 khezu hunt-a-thon you can hunt up to 10 khezus and get a lot of pale extracts. I recommend using fire base weapons and capturing the most monsters possible for better results or have a carving skill.
The Khezus in that quest are pretty weak, I'm a Bow user and I can take down all 10 in 17 minutes or less using Ashen Pride (Glavenus Bow) and the cats. Plus by making a Khezu suit you can make nice combinations using decorations and charms. Not to mmention there is active discrimination going on against those who use prowlers. I never had this happen until yesterday, walked into a lobby and was immediately told "no cats allowed". They were not even joking , they threatened to kick me out unless i switched to hunter. I agree, another online etiquette video mustbbe made.

I mean i get worried when an DB players joins an hunt cuz they trip everyone. It more of an yeah i dont want to deal with your weapon bs mechanics cuz it screwing me over. I mean it was there hub so they can put whatever rules they want thats why it's online and you can play with other people. If you join someone hub they kinda of are in charge of the rules for that hub and can ask you to not play as an prowler. Mostly cuz they dont understand what makes prowler so good meaning they dont know if the palico is any good or bad it like someone using high rank armor when they are hunting G3 monsters. You would kick that person cuz he gonna die and it can ruin an hunt

Also one of the rules of online etiquette is that the hub leader is in charge there's no if or buts about it

Hey Gaijin, I have a quick question: So, I have a friend who absolutely despises Prowlers, which is a real bummer, since I absolutely LOVE them! He says that the idea of Palico buddies are fine, but when a hunter is playing one in a room with other hunters, it detracts from the hunt because it doesn't feel serious anymore, since Palicos and Hunters are "on two different levels". My question is, who can I change his mind and show him how cool Prowlers are? You're pretty much the Prowler expert, and you have such a way with words, I figured if anyone could help, it'd be you. Anyway, great vid! Very helpful. :D
just show your buddy one of the prowler vids that gaijin already put out. he kills a shegura magala with a prowler easy. that should let your friend see that they are viable.
@deadmonsatwar That's the issue, though. He know's that they're viable, and he understands that they have a lot to offer, but he still thinks they're silly. His mentality is "If I wanted to hunt with cats, I would play solo. I'm playing online/with friends to play with them, not cats."
Explain to them that compromising an ideal experience so that it is had with friends brings unknown boons. If they refuse then you must compromise with them or simply talk about the game while hunting separately.
I'm having a weird case of Deja Vu here. I literally looked up about how to farm for Dash/Pale extracts a few days ago. Then I realize you literally made a video about it recently as well. Spooky.
Although this isn't an issue as a horn user, I do appreciate the tips about the stamina bar and making the palicos land where I want them to. Usually I'm able to figure it out through trial and error, but this minigame eluded me. Thanks as always for making great videos, and I would LOVE to see something about the mushroom skill. Also, prowlers are savage. Fight the good fight my friend.(Though by all rights, its a fight we shouldn't even be having. So weird to have such contempt for other weapons in a friggin coop game)

There’s also a hunt-a-thon village quest for a gypceros that gives you a minimum of two dash extract per hunt if you just hunt two and turn in the pawpass ticket. The more gypceros you kill in this quest, the more dash extract you will get in the rewards. That’s what I’ve been doing because I didn’t know about this method but I will definitely try this one too!
Quick question, does Khezu show up in Meownster Hunters? If so, can you get Pale Extracts from it? Gotta upkeep my stash of Mega Armor/Demon booze, you see.
That's pretty cool. I still prefer simply having skills mitigate stamina demand rather than having to use a consumable that I have to renew every few minutes of every hunt, but this will make Dash Juices a lot easier to use. Same with the Demondrugs/Ironskins with Khezu's Pale Extract.
Long time Gaijin Hunter fan. Quick question as I'm failing to find info (looked into kiranico, boards, etc). I'm trying to make the G rank bistro weapon, it requires palico ticket g. Where would one get this? I remember Palico tickets being given in level increments of 5. Does my Palico need to hit a certain level before giving G tickets? And keep up the great work!
I'm interested in seeing more vids of all the lesser known things in this game and how to efficiently use them like this video does. I'm HR50 now and still don't know half of what I'm doing. There's so much in the game that I tend to lose myself and not have any kind of roadmap to what to do next due to the sheer amount of things to do.
Mega dash juice is rarity 3, so there's a much easier way to "farm" them. This is sort of a moral grey area for some people, so I won't say what to do with this information, but some people will piece it together.
If you do end up doing a Mushromancer video, be sure to cover what the Account Mushrooms do (Unique, Choice, Ripened, Abyssal, etc.) as well as the mushrooms you get from Neko as a bonus.
A video on general progression for Gen Ultimate would be awesome! I've been playing a lot of solo (hr2 online)and don't know when I should be focusing on online or what one should be done first.

I'd like to see a charge blade build ( because I feel like most elemental phile CB are kinda underwhelming in power, I only use them if a monster was extremely weak to said element, other then that I use impact phile CB plus the slugger food skill witch gives knock-outs really well ) another thing i'm royally confused about is the artillery skill , did it change from MHG to MHGU ?
Artillery appears unchanged. The big reason why no one uses element as much is due to many monsters not being as weak as other games. It's viable, but generally the utility of impact phials beats it out, in my experience.

For people struggling with dash juice, just using it for farming. That way you don't develop a dependence.
Won't even attempt to use bow without it.

Why farm the Khezu yourself when you can get your cats to do it for you, though? The less Khezu in my life, the better.

Or for blocking, but you might just use old spice instead.

Use Assist (White) Palico. It's also a good idea to get 12 palicoes each (White and Purple) in case you get 3 Gypceros (or Khezu) back to back.
