Hey bro , Did you notice any gains from the ported plenum manifold, am thinking about it as well.
I really want to port mine but I also don't want to have my car apart while I'm doing the work in case something happens and I mess them up or can finish. I may just buy the power pack from you.
Your best bet is buying my kit my dude. Makes the process easy. And you get a tested and properly shaved and ported manifold set with my 75mm tb kits. And il also buy back your stock set later when you have it off. I pay typically 150 to 165 shipped for the stock set.

Love the video and the project. Props to all of us DIY guys. Question though: doing it manually at home by hand... my concern is that you'd end up with slightly different sized ports just due to human error and "eye-balling it". I wonder if there is any way to measure each port to make sure they're as close to identical as possible?
Each one that is done is measured and brought to near %5 accuracy of each other. I've done so many manifolds now. Just not lexus. But yes all are same and even to one another

How much of the material do you take off on average from both lower and upper manifold? 1-2mms?
That information varies set to set. They aren't all the same

Hey Trigga. My HR has ported upper & lower(stock injectors), do you think I'm better off with the Big Throttle bodies or ported VHR upper & lower. Can't afford both.
Hit me up il hook you up with a killer price for the TBs. If you have a ported HR set you don't need to switch. The HR still makes plenty of torque with tbs and ported manifold. And it's much simpler
To make your burr bits last longer and not load up with aluminum. Dip them in ATF fluid before you grind with them.
Wow rusty thank you for the advise đ I will try that on the next set I do this week! I've been also using alot more sanding wheels ( Christmas tree looking thing) they seems to help and clean up the final finish! But I will try this trick! Thank you so much đđ¤đŞâ¤

Is it basically the same as the Z1 ported manifolds?
Not same but yes I guess same concept. My manifolds are ported to a bigger degree as well the runners are fully ported! Unlike others they only do about %40 of the way through the runner đ¤ˇââď¸. Not here tho I do the full runners and as well for the lowers I do injector bump delete with the upper bump delete, for a full smooth pass through the runners. My manifolds are best in the market bro đ no doubt 100% guarantee đ đ đŞ

Does porting make a noticeable power difference? Like how much whp can you gain
Car to car varies but typically these you see alit of mid / top end be gained with tons of torque

What percentage increase in airflow does the flow bench say after the porting.
About 20 to 25% depending on the port! Since they are all hand ported it can very but they are range in that percent range

Correct! You won't have any issues. You might need a longer front and back stud. Which I can provide you if you buy a manifold set from me

I just started doing mine a few hours ago but I still don't have it too clear so you basically have to get rid of all the bumps? Or is they're like a certain measurement you have to get it to or how do you know when it's done?
It's hard to say since it's all muscle memory for me & proper tools. I could t tell you till I saw it. Becarefull with thr bumps. Shaving those off can sometime cuase crack in manifold

After u ported the lower and upper plenum and installed, does the car need to be tuned?
Not needed to tune right away. But yes eventually you will want yo grt s tune to get the Max results. When no tuned you can drive the car and do all the stuff you would normally. Just don't best on the car too much till it's tuned

What air compressor do you use I Baught a 240$ husky 20 gallon tank and it would last 60 seconds than pressure would drop than I would have to wait for the air compressor to build air again made the process longer I noticed you just kept going at it no problem
Maybe lower your pressure for the tool.

Please if you wanna do that contact me Via Instagram @notrigga but for a ported lower it would be 200 only if you trade in your stock one. So that works ether way you like, ether wait 2 days and I port your own or you just take a new ported one and i keep the stock. Let me know what you wanna do. Typically zero wait time, I have tons in stock. But if ordered at busy time, it takes 2 days before it's shipped

Nice bro , can I still drive my car after porting my manifold. And will I notice a difference after the install , or I need a tune
You can drive it with no issues and you will feel the difference. Car might run a bit lean which means more gas consumption but that's normal due to the extra air. But over all no issues. When you get tuned you will then feel the full gain.
Lower will help out but main thing after in tune. Depending on your injectors size you might need to up them but rare if your not cammed

So you have ether 2 options!
Option 1 : you can purchase a ported manifold set ($650 shipped to your doorđŞđ) & then install them and resell your own stock cores.
Option 2: (mandatory deposit $100 needed at start & rest can be payed when job is done) you would need to take your own manifold off, package đŚ them up and ship them to me for a port job. You Will also need to include a return label that I can use to send it back to you when job is done and payed in full! Option 2 is only $400 since you are supplying the core. So 400 plus 2 shipping labels đˇ .
