One thing I didn't cover in the video: Uninstalling ACR. If you decide you don't like it and want to uninstall, please read the documentation that comes with the mod to properly uninstall and remove tokens. If that's scary, you can just leave the mod in but turn it off if you don't want to use it.
I completely forgot about this and just deleted all of my cc to make space for new stuff, Did I ruin my game?
@@mayorspunion you can probably just put a r back into your mods folder and that should be fine. Unless you have played without it and the corrupting thing have happened. I don't know how that works.
@Pleasant Sims I tried installing this mod but it just makes my game crash every time on the first loading screen when you boot up the game
If youâre using V.2 of ACR, you are safe to just delete the package and itâs contents from your downloads folder. V.1 is a different story

The big difference for doing "high" is that bisexual sims in Sims 2 basegame set to "low" or otherwise become bisexual in vanilla, is that if your bi sims end up in a committed relationship where they're true to one partner, in vanilla or "low" the sim will eventually switch over to being interested in only the gender of their partner. The game calculates sexuality by adding 2 points towards attraction to one gender when you have romantic interactions with that gender and also removing one point from the other gender at the same time. So if a bisexual sim with a preference of +10 male +10 female has 10 romantic interactions when going on a date with the local romance sim, he'll stop being bi and become straight. I like to set my sexualities to "high" to avoid that tendency of the game to push bisexual sims into a single preference over time. (I also set my bi sim percentage at like 30% so that the dating pool for gay sims can expand a little without pulling too many sims out of the dating pool for everyone else.)
I can't see myself playing without the ACR anymore, it really spices things up for me, same with the Inteen!
If your ACR spawner looks different when placed, choose reset ACR from the spawner menu and that allowed me to see the same options that Cindy has.

I'm pretty sure that you also need to have the adjuster on the lot, so that teenagers can engage in ACR interactions. I read it somewhere on simbology.

ACR is a really fun mod. I had it a long time ago. Inteen is prob my favorite mod though, I usually end up making Angela and Dustin have a teen pregnancy. I don't have ACR anymore but I've enjoyed watching you play with it in your game so I'll probably add it back to my game.
have you have corruption in your game cause she has a pin comment saying if you delete the mode it can cause corruption and i wanna know incase i donât like the mod when i have it in my game

All of the mods on my website work together. I have every single one of them in my game (except the retired mods). They may not work with other mods found elsewhere. I can't speak to that.

So I looked at the list of you recommended mods for Sims 2 and I downloaded a ACR. I changed at the options and looked at my hood Center after two playing days and it turned out that had 500+ sims in my hood. I wish I saw this video before tinkered with the mod Oh my God!!!
ACR does not add Sims to your 'hood. If you have that many it's most likely from adding subhoods. Do you have downtown or Bluewater Village or a University added? If so, that drops all of those townies into your main 'hood too. :)

Just a note on the birth control feature, just like in real life it's not 100% effective in the game lol. I put both a male and female sim on it and they still wound up pregnant after being swamped with 4 kids, thanks to ACR. XD
Yes, you're absolutely correct Kel! Only the "Disallow Pregnancy" is 100%. Birth control can still fail just like in real life!
Hey cindy. Orpheus49 here. It's a good thing we figured out how to uninstall the mod when wanted, since leaving the tokens in the game can be corrupting

@@Bunniieee acr has a 2.0 version. I don't recall where it can be downloaded but I do know it doesn't have tokens. I've tested it. Easier to remove

I have ACR for sometime now and it made me both laugh and cry. I usually use it for my romance sim and risky woohoo. I might use the gender preferences generator now that I know how to use it , the way I did before was with the sim blender.
I also have a question Cindy - how do you generate new townies and NPC? I'm getting tired of seeing the Pleasentview townies and apartment townies walking the street of custom neighborhoods. Thank you and I hope your feeling better after your dental appointment!
Thank you! There are a lot of ways you can generate townies - such as with the Tombstone of L& D or Sim Blender. If you mean how to create a new neighborhood that has completely different townies instead of the Maxis ones, that's a bit more difficult. I am planning to make a tutorial on it soon though because I get asked about it a lot.
Basically, you need to remove the character files from the base 'hoods before you create a new neighborhood. But this can mess up your game badly if you don't do it correctly. Here's some more info: sims.fandom.com/wiki/Game_guide:Creating_a_clean_neighborhood
But I will make an in-depth video tutorial in the coming weeks about how I do it.

Pescado mods, and use the mailbox with testingcheatsenabled true to generate new townies as well as default replacement face templates so the townies come out more attractive and distinct. I installed the ACR mod and I love the way it changes gameplay (thanks for your great tutorial! :) ) However, I have a "problem" and I don't know whether it's related to ACR or not: ALL my pregnant sims (Cassandra Goth, Nina Caliente and Jennifer Burb) got twins. Has anyone had the same thing happen? Could this be related to ACR or is it just coincidence? Dina Caliente is pregnant right now and I kinda don't want her to have twins, too.

For sim settings, if it says "set to faithful" does that mean they are faithful or does it showing "allow all interactions" mean they are?
What do you do when you set the pregnancy odds for one specific sim but it changes back to 62% please? Iâve lost count the number of times Iâve set the percentage to lower than 62% but for some reason it keeps reverting back and not saving my changes!

I have a question...what if every time I load up the sims 2 my sims are not home and it shows they are just somewhere else but it doesn't say like where they are or what there doing? How can I fix that?
Does anyone else get the glitch that once the sims are equipped with the acr token, they just stop all activities and stand still until their motives deplete? They do that little glitchy "jump" as well. For me, the acr only works if I delete the adjuster from the lot once sims have the token. Then they'll just act according to the global settings and I can't individualize lots and sims... Only the data-less NPCs are unaffected and work accordinly. Does anyone know a solution for this, please?

I'm little confused about ACR. It's working and not working... Sims do interactions like woohoo, some flirts and kisses but every kiss and flirt interactions aren't working. For example, when my sims try peck they do "jump bug". I have tried ACR 2.0 first and then ACR 1.1, but both have same problem. I tried have only ACR in Download folder too, but still my sims doing "jump bug". I have almost every EPs, but not Apartment Life and Glamour Life Stuff.

I'm guessing the Sims 2 didn't have the ability to add new menus or animations, therefore mods can only work with what's already ingame, is that correct? (Considering the 'adjust percentage' is the buying groceries menu)
I have mods with new animations but they are really rare. Making new animations for the sims 2 was either really hard or there just wasn't that many people with the right tools and skills around when it was big.
I have my risky set to 36%, but when I clicked "show my token stats" it says "Base Risky Odds are 36% which works out 0 chances out of 10,000". What did I do wrongđđ
not sure if this is an ACR question- I had 2 teens going out (townie and playable). My playable went to university then lost the crush from teen to the townie. I used ACR and they can interact through the ACR menu but they do not get any of the relationship flags? He's still a teen and I'm a young adult. Is that normal? with the ACR not triggering flags?
Itâs not really an ACR thing because Iâve experienced the same thing. Usually the crush goes away when your sim goes to university or becomes an adult. But the friendship stays with the townie at least. Hope this helpss
Any idea why I keep getting the Bad Gosub Tree error? If I click "delete" it deletes my Sim which I know is bad. I have the Smarter EP Check but it doesn't seem to solve my problem.
"Deleting" sims that way isn't bad, actually, as it doesn't actually delete them. It just deletes an "instance" of them (thus resetting them), and once you reload the lot, they'll be standing by the mailbox safe and sound. As for your issue, sounds like some sort of mod conflict to me.

found your video because im contemplating installing ACR! im planning on making an empty hood for rotational play, and i've only dabbled in ts2 mods at most (though im very much familiar w/ modding the other games) - i like the idea of my sims picking their own partners and being more autonomous about their interactions, but i'd rather they don't go around woohooing when im not controlling them. is there a way to turn things down to flirtation when it comes to sims im not controlling at the time? and is jealousy an issue? i saw people recommend Pescado's romance and noinstantloves mods, but im worried that'll sway things too far into the other direction. is ACR adjustable enough to only slightly randomize romantic interactions, instead of dominate it?

Hi there! I'm not sure what you mean by Sims you aren't controlling. Do you mean Sims not in the current playable household? If so, they only do autonomous actions when they're on the same lot as you - so a community lot or visiting your current residential lot or apartment residents if you're playing with apartments. And then, they'll only woohoo if there are woohoo objects on the lot like a hot tub.
If you mean Sims in the same household that aren't actively selected, then no. They will do whatever they like via ACR, although you can change settings for the lot or specific Sim.
You can also set jealousy to whatever you want - from no jealousy to jealousy only when married, only when going steady, etc. The best way is to just download it and play around to see if you like it or not. Hope that helps some!
@@PleasantSims thanks so much for your answer!! i meant sims outside of the active household, yes! sims in a current household can do whatever they want, because i already micromanage all of them 9 out of 10 times. if they do something i truly hate, i'll probably just stop them.
i just feel like it'd be nice if my sims could show some more autonomy in who they're attracted to, flirt with, maybe start a liiittle drama, etc - otherwise i'd get stuck in trying to perfectly matchmake everyone before even playing, when i make the households i wanna start with. i feel like that'd get boring real quick. that being said, i definitely wanna have the final say, especially when it comes to sims im not controlling at the time, because it might screw up plans i have for them. if i can see their intentions, i can choose whether or not i want them to act on it, so its good to know that i wont have to constantly worry about inactive households unless theyre on my lot!
ill probably just try it out with jealousy set to "in love", i just hope it wont be a pain to remove if i dont like it, because iirc it applies tokens to every sim? which i havent actually figured out what they are or do lol, i've just been on a massive mod-hunt this week and scouring old posts to find out what i want for my game. wanna make sure everything is set up how i want it to be! and this video definitely helped make ACR seem a little less daunting :)
@@mimi-xx Hi Mimi! If you find you don't like it (but I think you will!) you can just turn off ACR autonomy and it will stop everything. :)

Ok so strangely, the method of uninstalling in the previous version was to go to the token menu of the adjuster
Acr 2.0 does not have this, so the tokens can not be removed. Does anyone know what the new method may be? I hear the new method may be to disable the mod with the adjustor in game then remove it.
I have no idea. I just don't uninstall it. Lol
@@PleasantSims I had a megahood I wanted to upload on mts so i wanted to remove things when people asked me for a game save. Unfortunately acr 2.0 dosent appear to have a definitive uninstall method. :(

Can you do polyamorous relationships? Like have two romance sims married couple not get jealous of each other and have their flings not get jealous of them? I would like that but I also want to have monogomous relationships as well in the same town. Is this a possibility? Is there a way to have a jealous sim not be jealous of a sim that is openly polyamorous?

Cindy, it just popped up to my mind out of nowhere but I was just thinking that fertility does decreases with age but there are also some cases in which a person is totally infertile even if he/she is young. Have you done anything for that? Just asked because you go for realistic gameplay and so do I.
Hi there! Yes, I allow my Sims to Try for Baby for 3 times. If they don't get pregnant, I consider them to be infertile and they may adopt a child to fulfill their want for children. So far, it hasn't happened. But we've had a couple of close calls.
Oh yeah! I remember! Lucy and Alexander were just close to be labelled as an unfertile couple when Lucy got pregnant. That's how it works! Thanks tho!
A very stupid question but, For example I'm playing Don Lothario and we all know he's a woohooer. Could he possibly get other sims pregnant that I'm not playing? Like Dina and Nina if they go to his house while I'm playing don and they woohoo will they have a chance of becoming preggers?

Not unless you make them selectable with testing cheats or mods (which is what Cindy does). Sims can only get pregnant if they're part of the current household you're playing (and making them selectable makes them so as far as the game is concerned). Just make sure to make them UNselectable again once they've done the deed.
Does anyone know a working mod that can go into sims 2 that allows teen woohoo? I donât want pregnancy! I just want to allow teens the option of woohoo in game, all the mods Iâve come across seem complex and/or really old and im skeptical

i was having the same issue loll, it was working a few months ago tho, however you can still get the download by going on the wayback machine, copy and pasting the link and then selecting the latest available capture, it should have the download there for you, it did for me!! I've tried to install the ACR mod, but I can't get it to work
I've read instruction, wached many tutorial videos and still nothing. Mods are enabled. I've even uninstalled all other mods and installed ACR from the beginning
Did someone else have that problem and want help?
I have that ultimate collection and it runs perfectly on windows 10. Some mods work and some don't, I have no idea why.
The first thing I would do is check to make sure you are unzipping the files and extracting them into your downloads folder. If you don't unzip it, the mod will not show up in the game.

I did. I unzipped them directly into the Downloads folder and when it didn't work I unzipped it into separate folder on deskop and then dragged them there
@@c47hy Are you using the correct version of the mod? There are two versions out there. You need to have 2.0.

@@c47hy Yep, that's it. So my next question would be what do you mean by it doesn't work? When you click on a Sim, does the "Adjust" option appear?

Any of my sims who have the want for multiple partners I like to turn the jealousy off and allow all interactions with cheating. Especially if I put them in a relationship with other "players".

The problems I have with mods like this is they put sims with sims I donât like, end relationships I have set up and stuff like that. I wouldnât mind it so much if it actually did what I wanted, but Iâll have an entire storyline set up for a sim, and the game will put them into a situation that I donât want, like get them pregnant, or set them with somebody else and have them cheat etc.
I need total 100% control over everything and I expect the game to know what Iâm thinking before I even think it.

This mod looks like it is no longer available for download.
In her description there is link for her mods list where is listed mods she uses. It directs to her website and shows lot of subcategories. Select Essential Mods and there you'll find Autonomous Casual Romance. Press the link and it'll direct you to download link for ACR 2.0. I was afraid as well since the actual link didn't work on description. Her own website links are always updated.
