- Throughout temperate areas of the world, Schefflera is commonly interpreted as an indoor species of plants that adorn sunny or bright window sills across urban apartments and homes alike, but in the tropical regions of the world and in the context of bonsai, this is a phenomenal species to be utilized. They are often called money trees or dwarf Hawaiian umbrella trees, with a helicopter-style propeller perched on top. They can range from banyan trees, single trunk trees, forests, or even a collection of aerial routes that form together and produce one crown.
In this video, David Cutchin-a renowned tropical bonsai expert and practitioner, breaks down the step-by-step process of how to take this common plant species and turn it into an incredible bonsai subject through the application of artistry, design, and technique.

I've never seen leaves that small. Pretty cool.... I've never seen it though. I'd definitely consider trying to bonsai small variety.
I picked up a dozen of these, 4 in a pot from stop n shop for $1 a piece on clearance.
I kinda neglected some of them and the leaves got tiny
Namaste ji Very very good you're a suphlera Bonsai thank you❤ india🇮🇳
Is the second tree a multiple trunk that fused?
Or one chub trunk?
If fused, can you wrap the trunks like a ficus
To promote fusion?
Thanks in advance!

I always see these at my local grocery store and always passed them because I didn't think they make good trees. Well next time I see one I'm gonna give a second thought.
