WHEN Danielle came across Gunnar's quest to marry a stranger from TikTok, she submitted her own video application and within a few weeks the pair had exchanged vows! Speaking to Love Don't Judge, Gunnar explained: "I really enjoyed connecting with people and having fun, unique experiences. So I kind of combined these two things of having fun and trying to get attention, and that led to me wanting to marry a stranger." After getting wed in Vegas, the pair planned to divorce a week after the ceremony, but there was a hitch to their plan. Gunnar said: "After more research we discovered we had to be in our home state together. And it cost more money than we expected. We decided not to go through with the divorce because we were having so much fun together." Danielle added: "We never thought that we would fall in love." But, as time went on, the couple did just that. Despite now being an official couple, Danielle and Gunnar have endured a whole heap of judgement because of their relationship. In this episode of Love Don't Judge, we'll hear all about the couple's unique journey to falling in love and some of the reservations they've received along the way. Reflecting, Danielle said: "I think this relationship works for a couple of reasons, but I think the main reason is that we went into it with literally no expectations."

I love their story. It's kinda like the love story my husband and I share. We met on Facebook and I almost declined his friend request because I thought he was a scammer. I decided to accept it. Best decision ever. My husband commented on every post I made, but we never chatted directly. We met a year later when he flew to my area on a work trip. We met in March 2020 and married June 2020. We celebrate our 4th anniversary this year. Blessings to their union!!!

I wanted to leave a positive comment. I love them! I’ve been following them since the beginning, how has it been 3 YEARS!!? I’m not really on social media much but whenever I sign back on and see that they are still together it’s always just a good vibe feeling like they were meant to be and all is right- they just gel so well. You can meet people in all sorts of ways, anyone that is negative is just old school which is fine too/ it’s just 2024- the world is a hot mess in general- why not meet your person anyway you can to experience things with, we don’t get out alive anyways - i think they are great- definitely 2 people that were supposed to meet! Once I decided I wanted to be with my now husband, I made a commitment not only to him, but to myself, that I will always do my part to make the relationship work and to be faithful. Once you take the opportunity to leave away from yourself, you naturally want to make the relationship pleasurable! When you fight and bicker and tell yourself you’ll leave eventually, you quit trying.

3:40 i actually really love this story. In the past you didn't know the person u married inside and out. U learned throughout the marriage. Everybody likes to hate on arranged unions but they're not always bad and they CAN end happily. If you're willing to put the work in and you don't find the person absolutely hideous?
