Sucks about the rolling cloud cover, glad you managed to get a gander though. We had about the same coverage of the sun up here in Vancouver BC as well. Did the same with the welding goggles too.
Nice, man. Down here it was only about a 70% totality and other than that the temperature dropped slightly and the daylight getting ever so slightly slightly dimmed, I could not even tell it was happening. If I didn't know it was happening I would never have noticed. I should have got some solar eclipse glasses, but meh.
Wow, I'm so glad I didn't spend money and time on watching this myself. Everybody was going crazy and gathering places to have a solar watching party. Even in this video, I didn't see anything amazing! Thanks for another good video and bad Ass music..
We kind of got the shaft in VA, didn't we? Seemed a bit darker for a little bit, but wasn't that impressive. Cool vid though! Love those cloud time lapses!

Its a lovely time lapse of clouds.. lol. I should have used a filter, oh well.

Had about 98% totality here. It was like living in allaska for a min or 2. Could see street lights at 2:40pm.

Yea we did.. Doing this vid, kinda makes me want to record some of those TStorms we get. I think I might do a timelapse channel on the side.
So does it actually get darker? Where I live it was a much smaller eclipse and we didn't notice anything
Simonniz It did actually. Looked like the begining of dusk. And the temperature droped about 3 degrees.
