- Political parties are expected to intensify their election campaigns ahead of the much anticipated polls. In KZN, the competition is fierce, following former president Jacob Zuma's announcement that he will be campaigning for the newly formed party, Umkhonto WeSizwe, instead of the ANC. Political analyst Thembisa Fakude speaks to Katlego Msomi for analysis on this.

Before MK many in kzn streets were willing to give the power back to IFP because of the way they feel Zuma is ill treated by ANC and many other factors.
