- Black First Land First has partnered with former President Jacob Zuma's uMkhonto weSizwe Party. Earlier this week, the parties reached an endorsement deal during a meeting in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal. Just one month after the party's formation, the MK has attracted the African Congress for Transformation, the All African Alliance Movement and the Pan African Congress.
BLF President Andile Mngxitama speaks to Dudizile Ramela about this alliance.

Hey you are an 'engineer'... can you explain the first pillar of the EFF in terms of the 25 year lease period and who decides, who appoints and on what basis are tenants allowed to use that land again. I checked the manifaestos and the founding document and there is very little detail. Makes me thing the implementaiton will be done on the fly and without much thought... and thus with serious negative consequences... think of the corruption that took place when Gorbachev tried to place the ownserhip of car assembly plants in the hands of local CPSU party agents... it was a disaster!!

Very good Andile really we need a political will or philosophy which is pro black people and need not be pologetic about that. We can't allow divide and rule to derail us anymore, why should black people have 300 political parties, clearly this has a negative impact on us using our majority to make fundamental change in this country🙂.
I share your thoughts on South Africa having all these political parties as a way to keep us divided as black people. It is all meant to divide us. I believe there should be a limit in the number of political parties, maybe 3 or 5 for example. Being pro black in South Africa is demonized heavily because the elite know that if black people in South Africa were to be truly united, almost nothing would stop us except an all out war

Just yesterday I heard that the government is launching a bn rand housing program. This will never produce proper and dignified housing for South Africans unless SA government discontinue the tender system, study and master housing projects of other great countries. Actually, the UK USA and Canada have very successful and dignified housing projects. In fact, our own Mr Moeletsi Mbeki was involved in a few of housing projects in UK. I think it was in South Port or Liverpool.The government need to employ such planning and strategies lest we end up with low life and ridiculous projects.

Land distribution is for politicians to ponder but land restitution is a matter for South Africans to demand from those who stole their land and no compensation should be entertained, at all; they know who these thieves are. Mind you this land was stolen and taken by brutal force so if the South Africans have to be violent to regain their land, so be it. South Africans should not be intimidated by those who are preaching that there would be a civil way if land is taken without compensation.
Land distribution without compensation is the only answer. If this is not done the Black South Africans will continue to live like slaves in their own land.
