Theory crafted this long ago surrounding the Bblos bow and just recently shared my test results. So naturally it's no surprise to find out that it's sub-optimal on 1 blink.

This actually helps me. I've been hunting the crap outta pinky but didn't have anything to upgrade since I'm stuck at g7 5/5 bow. Now I know to get armour too 👍

Black Diablos doesn't have dragon weakness somehow... maybe the raw dmg will still work?
Another great video! Keep it up. The Rosen bow is so underrated. I am starting to experiment with it on monsters who are not weak to dragon. The mobility and the dps is amazing. Hopefully, this can work well against black diablos with Rosen at g8.5. Thanks for the video!
Sadly Rosen won’t do too well against black diablos 😭 Black Diablo doesn’t carry the dragon weakness like its original counterpart 🫠

7.5 rosen was wrecking rathians in my area after watching this vid...the damage is crazy but I can't break as much parts compared to my 7.5 cera..i honestly feel Cera bow is > all the others
Cera is the GOAT of all bows. But thats also thanks to it having Part Breaker at Grade 8. Pair Black Diablos Bow Grade 8 with Black Diablos Helm and you get Part Breaker 3 (Biggest part dmg jump) while still having Focus 5. Its nuts lol.
I've been stock piling pink rath mats but I think a good ice bowgun build is way better

only available with pink rathian
You'll only see monster sets if you've beaten a monster. So unless you slay a Pink Rathian you won't see its armor set.

@KINGOFCHARMANDERS I already defeated pink Rathian before and I saw SNS and LS so I thought pink rathian only has 2 weapons , Is Rosen arrow worth to build then?
hmm instead if your not going for burst and lock on you could use diablos vambraces to help break parts and for the heroics for if you get hit by exident
Burst is still better overall. Unless you have part breaker 3 it’s not worth going part breaker because you won’t break as much. Heroics at a low level isn’t worth it either.
Im still not understanding the -30 affinity from Black Diablos weapons. Does this mean you have a -30% chance of crit or you do -30% damage when you get a crit? Can someone please clear this up for me?
70% chance to do 100% dmg, 30% chance to do 75% dmg. A crit deals x1.25 dmg while negativ crit deals x0.75

Unless you can get it to 10.5 the jho weapons are much better.

BLACK DIABLOS BOW for sure. Rosen Arrow is great. But a weapon that works for every monster like Black Diablos Bow is much better.

Love you man, been watching for a while. But why are you telling people they need grade 6 for some of the armors when they do not need grade 6? It is very misleading, especially for newer players. Pukie Helm and the {{Pukie Mail(alternative)}} only need grade 4 for example. And if someone is using the bow, they arnt getting hit, or they shouldnt be, so that extra defense is not needed. AND you only need grade 5 for ratholas coil which is its crafting crafting grade. You are seriously telling people the wrong information and you need to stop and correct yourself and your videos because this isnt the only video that you have said you need grade 6 when you don't.
If you noticed I’m going off the graphic for MHN.quest. It’s not misleading at all either you want your armor as high as possible so you can survive so grade 6 isn’t a bad thing. WHAT WOULD BE BAD is if I was telling people to go grade 8 and spend WGS on their armor.
What’s misleading for you is that you assume EVERY person is going to dodge every attack 100% of the time. That’s not entirely possible especially with the newer monsters who have larger hitboxes so Grade 6 isn’t a bad suggestion at all. Grade 6 to Grade 7 5/5 is perfectly reasonable. Bow isn’t entirely safe either, UNLESS you have the skill level for EVERY MONSTER and you are used to not using evade extender even no one dodges everything 100% of the time even bow users.
You should seriously reconsider giving advice to anyone when you don’t look at the whole picture first 😒
