Nice tip with the pantyhose to keep them from getting crabbed out. Do you just do that on the piers, or out on PINS too. Seems like a great idea to get a longer deployment on the baits before having to re-run baits.

Does that netting you out around the fish effect the way shark want it? Does it reduce the bite a bit but preserve the bait for longer?
No the sharks don't care have caught so many using this style and i.proved catch nunbers because they don't get perched out before big sharks can get it

@michaeloconnor8524 it helps but remember if there's a lot of crabs double Up the panty hose isn't a permanent fix but helps it last more than. A few hours.

Hey man i have a question. For slidelining id like to get a avet sx as my slide line reel And use kinda big anchors. How much would a standard avet sx mc 5.3 hold of 30lb mono.
No idea we don't fill them up with mono because they aren't designed for full mono you have to put atleast 150yds of braid then the mono, if you full mono like that you chance warping the spool
Trust me I did that to an sx raptor about 11 years ago.. lucky avet covered it because it was my mistake
