Hard Life's Bait and Tackle we started out of our garage in 2004. Selling our fishing Tackle on the local pier and beaches, jetties and then out of our garage..
In 2006, we picked up our first local tackle shop which was the biggest shop for fishing in Corpus Christi... then the following year we expanded to multiple other tackle shops.. in 2013 we were too big to be in the garage and opened up our first Retail shop.. with all the ups and downs we have evolved and grown.. Now with our channel we have developed it to be an avenue to share our decades of fishing experience and growth for all to see and enjoy and grow from as well... It is a Hard Life but we are very blessed to be here and continue to look for growth with everyone's support.. So with out Retail shop and our manufacturing wholesale and distribution we have covered all areas of our fishing community to ensure we can support our growth.. Why so small fishing rod
Which one?
I watched a guy fighting a big Jack on the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. He was all the way at the end when he set the hook and fought it a little better than half way to the beach when a Dolphin started harassing them. When he dropped his rod to his buddy on the beach the distance covered was closing in on 1200ft+ from the hookset to the beach. The fight continued and when it was over, the "recovered" piece of the Jack was about 18 or so inches from the mouth to the end of the gill plate. You can upgrade the drag and yes you can land some great fish and sharks with it... definitely upgrade the braids on it will help big time..

We use hollow core braid for all kinds of fishing and testing it in every kind of conditions that we fish... that and casting is pretty awesome too ...
