Brilliant car. This is the father of all Corollas.. Good job maintaining it's good condition. I recommend restoring the window chrom trims, replacing the radio with an original Toyota, it should be at least same dark color of your dash. Oh, and the wheels, these are actually nice but the 70's Corollas came with simpler wheels with hubcaps. I understand they may not be easy to find.

@@GBros-qt1bw that's very kind of you. Indeed, it's a beautiful car and a timeless classic at that. I do not think it's really a 1975 model as the KE20s were made from 1970 to July '74. Therefore it's most probably a 1974 by latest. It's first registration in your country may be 1975, but that's not essentially the year of manufature. Are you the original first owner? Where I grew up, we only seem to get the 4 door and not the 2 door version, but the station wagon we got was 2 door (+tail gate). I tend to think the original interior upholstery and door cards would have been black and not beige if white is the original paint. I maybe wrong though. Also the red carpet seems a bit odd. Black or dark gray is more like it for the KE20 Corolla. Best of luck and keep up the good work. 🙂
I would love to be the owner but I'm not, I only did the job of painting it, the owner decided the colors for the upholstery as well as the red carpet, you know that there are different tastes 😊

I would try to give the owner a recommendation to keep the car as original as possible and that this would effectivly raise his Corolla's value. Perhaps the owner isn't aware of the high classic value of his Corolla KE20. I am glad he chose the white paint color as this was one of the original color options for the KE20.
