- Studio demo of "No Time For Love" by Emmy, a post-punk rock band led by a pre-fame Madonna circa 1980-1981. This is song number 2 on their 4-track official "demo tape" that was recorded on November 30, 1980 at the Music Building in New York City.
this is pretty solid.....this is basically alternative rock......
Wow, Kind of Psycodelic. Madonna always has been So Versatile.
All of Madonna's songs before her first big album are some of my favorite Madonna songs. I want a whole album of everything she did before her first big commercial album.
Another no.1 super hit song Precious honey bunny baby Madonna! ❤😊
I've loved this song for years. And, yes: Of all of her songs/demos of this quality era, THIS ONE sounds like something from her Blondie/Debbie Harry side of songwriting. If I could go back in time, I'd have her give this tune to Blondie, for their The Hunter album (if it had been issued as a double album, which I've always felt it could have been), and include Madonna, Lorna Luft, and Ellie Greenwich on backing vocals, a la Eat To The Beat. This would have made a good single, in The 1980s, esp. in 1981/82. One of my favorite vocals by Madonna.
So raw and purely brilliant!!!
Debbie harry?nothing like her-more like chrissie Hyde, the Pretenders.....certainly was an average singer, her raw determination ,luck got her there.
she is so talented. had this production had some slight modifications, this could’ve been a big hit.
I love Madonna My last harte beat
Interesting
If only she went on tour with all them songs before i die...❤❤🙌🙌👑👑
No time for love
Me gusta, mucho!!😍
What is the Music 🎵 Building in NYC? Is that a recording studio?
