Trains in Cornwall - Penzance, St Erth & Hayle Stations | July 2021

While staying down in Cornwall for some time during July I managed to get some footage from a few locations during the course of my visit.
So starting at the furthest south, end of the line in Penzance, there's some footage from there & a shot from a level crossing near Long Rock, then a shot from St Erth station of a double 150 sprinter heading to St Ives then a handful of shots from Hayle station.
Trains featured are Great Western Railway IET's, HST "Castle Sets", 158's & 150's.

Lovely footage especially liked the 43sand the Castle Sets are a brilliant way to keep them going a little longer - I didn’t quite venture to Cornwall but went to Devon the other day just to see some 43s and to get footage for my channel 🙂

Brilliant video! 7:30, a 3-Car Castle set (nice catch btw) enters Hayle and 8:00, same platform and direction a 4 car leaves!! Did it magically collect an extra Mk3 at Hayle!! Keep up the good work!

no they are different sets first is 43155, and 43156 the 3 car set and 2nd set is 43042 and 43016

@@traintastictrains3632 ah ok. I think its odd the 3 car castle set stopped all the way down to the end of the platform I think the driver forgot it was a 3 car not 4 car
