  • This is a record of the process and equipment used to test 1kV single-core un-armoured cables that had initial low insulation values when tested at 1kV (some as low as 35M ohms). The cable manufacturer-recommended we test the cables at 4kV DC to prove the integrity of the cable insulation and installation.
