Exactly where glitter belongs. Sealed up to never be stuck on clothing or skin or in between your cards
Until the dome breaks and it's everywhere
@@Shanzaru good point
Who hurt you lol
@@izzwhiz1767 the Germans did when they made glitter.
@@manicvortex yes glitter sucks, remember in 4-5th grade we had a spelling bee whenever you got first place in it they put glitter in your hair, that shit was stuck in there for like a week.
That japanese piggy bank has a cute hidden meaning.

as in eat less or did I not get it?
@@Willie6785 yeah pretty much, eat less, go out less, basically cut back on non-essential spending like snacks or going out to eat, buying name brand things, etc.
@@Willie6785 It just means reduce your spending in general
As in starve yourself? Lol
@@billyyank5807 don't play stupid, you won't have many friends doing that.
"This is a 300 year old coin, let me just bang it around and damage it."
🤫🤭😅😂🤣
Snowflake 🥱
Bruh 300 year old coins can be quite inexpensive
Dude. If you owned the coin, you could bang it as much as you want. If I was rich and paid $10k for it, you can bet your ass I’d take it out of the package and play with it. What fun would it be if you left it in plastic? I have two one hundred year old guitars that I play all the time. Because I feel like it.
Fake af tho
The coin is a little after the golden age of pirates, most of your big names were dead by then, Blackbeard died in 1718, Black Sam the year before, Calico Jack died in 1720, and Black Bart Roberts was killed in 1722. By 1740 the only pirate likely to have touched that coin that you would have heard of is Henry Avery/Every. But of course by then he wasn’t a pirate so.
Also it’s not really a Doubloon, it’s an escudo, that’s the crest of the Spanish king on that back but it isn’t the right size for a doubloon, which would have been 2 escudos.
I lost my comment somehow, but it is 8 escudo. you can see the 8 above the year.
@The Derp except it’s not
Will you please leave directions as to where to find or buy these items. That plate would make an awesome piece. Also I’ve come across some awesome things that I haven’t been able to find. Like a toddler’s mini airplane game from the 80s where it gives you the impression of flying by having you accelerate decelerate and pass over objects. I’m 38 and I still want it.
That dubloon is fake. I have six of them, literally exactly the same. They eventually added a stamp to them (after I got my six) because scammers were selling them as real.
Where did u get them?
@@mattferrigno9750 from the look of the box, it looked more like a goonies gold coin or something
What “dubloon”?
@@mattferrigno9750 maybe hes just not an expert on it? Dont call him stupid and be rude becuse he didnt know. Thats not the way to educate people. He just thought it was cool and shared it man?
@@mattferrigno9750 you know he was being sarcastic right he even shows the fake box it was in, and stupider is not a word
If that coin was that old, I’m pretty sure you would be extremely careful/gentle with it.. 🤨
Lmao Chris thinks his subs were born yesterday.
I don't know anything about pirates coins, but the worth of an old coin it's not to be found in it's age despite what most people think, it all depends on how many of them has been found and of course the material they're made of. In Italy where I live you could literally start digging in your backyard and find a bounch of 2000yrs old coins which are worth basically nothing. 300yrs in comparison is nothing ahahahah
@@ludovicocroce9229 I have a big bag of 2000 year old coins I give them to my kids when we go to the arcade
I had some old plastic fake doubloons that looked exact like that lmao.
@Race Bannon genius
I once went to a giant, traveling, Star Trek exhibit that had a big science/astronomy section. One of the exhibits was this huge glass globe that you could spin. It was full of that liquid that's in that little dome shaped thing in this video. It was essentially a model of a gas giant planet like Jupiter. You would spin the thing, and that weird liquid inside would form all the same type of bands that you see on Jupiter, right down to seeing the currents creating swirling hurricane looking whirlpools. If you kept it going at the same constant speed, all the bands of current would become stable and you could see whirlpools stabilize, spinning, but becoming a permanent feature. It was really cool and mesmerizing to play with.
Badass
@@myyoutube2910 My wife literally had to pull me away from it because I was constantly spinning it, staring at it, mesmerized. It was like visual ASMR. It was so cool. Sadly, there was no convenient magnets for me to poke it with. I had no clue that the stuff was magnetic till I saw this video. I would have been spinning that thing, poking a magnet all over it, staring at it all, "OoooOOOOOOOO!!!!". My wife would have left me there. Haha!!!
@@BlackburnBigdragon I'm not sure the glitter water is magnetic. The guy in this video mentioned rods inside.
That sounds really cool
Those are pretty cool. I love the desk swirly thing the most.

Oh snap, that blue spinner thingy is a wonderful example of fluid dynamics, beautiful!
The blue thing is called a Rheoscopic Fluid Disc, u can also get whole sphere ones
Love 5hese shorts but I really wish you would include the names of these or links in the description as to where you can buy it.
Woaa the blue desktop piece - i saw this on Norwegian technical museum few weeks to simulate clouds- this one was white and grey though, but so cool!
Me: *Breaks So I Can See The Liquid*
My son would love the blue orb and the spinning tree. He's developmentally disabled and it's hard to find toys that hold his interest at all. Thank you! Subscribed.
That’s no “Ordinary desk to piece” that’s a *Magic mirror!* Hello 1970’s we want our shit back!❤️
The third one…oh my god. I’m completely mesmerized, and want to try one of those *SO BAD!*
I could watch that blue thing forever, a whole short of it would be neat.
Or in slow mo for part of an intro
I NEED THAT BLUE THING IN MY LIFE-
*thinks of the blue singer from 5th element & sighs wistfully*
"Now it's stuck inside" 😅
The blue dish would be good as a wall clock with the second hand having a small magnet in it.
Omg yes that's a great Idea I do believe its filled with mica powder you make it and I will be first inline to buy it, deal 😄
All the floating particles would most likely collect to one side hanging on a wall
Nothing beats that gold coin
Ok, but where do you get that 3rd one?
and the fourth
It would save so much time if he would just put the damn links on the description
Yes. I would think that would be helpful to put an item description list.
@@PetersonSilva I found that on Amazon. Just search “helicone” there’s a bunch. You’re welcome!
If you're looking for the blue swirly water one it's called a vortex and you can find it on Etsy 96.00 dollars.
Search: “physics hack vortex dome desk toy” on Amazon for the blue spinning dome
That blue thing..I like it
I have one of those woods spinner thingys. Got it from school book fair, mines green and yellow and plastic, I use it to fidget :)
It's all fun and games til you shatter the plate.
I had a doubloon that looked EXACTLY the same and was approx 2 times bigger than that and even had a little piece cut off of it. I was only able to find it in one book that had it listed as only 1 known in existence (so either I had the second or the one they were referring to) for 700,000$ no lie. I lost it when I was stabbed 5 times and the EMT cut off my Versace pants. I informed them while they did, of the contents and I wanted to keep. When I was leaving the hospital, I was told that my pants could not be kept as 'belongings' because it was a biohazard because they were covered in blood, I need to talk to. .. run around. I will never say anything bad about EMTs/docs/nurses but it really really sucks my stuff got stolen, especially that way. Especially because I broke my back, neck, both wrists, fractured skull, legally blind (I have 1 eye, that's how I seen ur vid, ha) and have been pretty much homeless for almost 5 years. Anyhow, cool vid. Guess I'm hoping a nurse or whoever will see this and be like 'oh shit, that coin was/is his'. It still bothers me everyday to think about very very much and this was like 6 or 7 years ago.
What the heck
That totally happened
You forgot „once upon a time…“
You just happened to be walking around in Versace pants with a $700,000 coin in your pocket and get stabbed? And the perpetrator didn't take it?
Man... Tom Hardy has some serious toys collection
Short, sharp and to the point. Just the way I like it
SpongeBob is really upset that you stole his one good pair of pants.
This is an actual replica dabloom. Thanks for watching my LIE.
That third thing is some kind of fortune-telling device
I feel like gadget type things like this were way popular in the 90s. It's too bad more places don't see these sort of things.
Nieces and nephews gotta love his house just touching every damn thing 😂
That second one was such a cool puzzle like omg i can hardly believe you figured it out without a tutorial
Captain Jake missed a coin
It's now automatic, I see a Chris Ramsay short and I'm smiling even before it starts
My ADHD is addicted to the glitter dome and the noise the helicone makes
That blue circle piece tripping would be a household icon to any tripper who needs to center.
Third one is made using mica powder, you can make that same effect by putting the powder in a bottle and shaking it, it’s also used in edible “glitter”
I thought that the blue thing was an implant at first
Wouldn't it be cool if women got implants like that, but with obvious windows or powerful back lighting or something, so when you squish up her boobies they would get all swirly....... & maybe even light up!
what the hell is the disc called? i want that
Vortex dome desk you you can buy one on Etsy for $96.00. It's handmade in the United Kingdom
That dabloom reminds me of the sponge bob episode when the krusty krab gets curse
Orlando daBloom
My 4.5yo gonna LOOOOOOOOVE ur channel. He's into science, magic, hacks, toys and gimmics and stuff. I love that he's already so interested in how things work. I think i instilled that onto him because he loves taking things apart and I'm always telling him don't take things apart unless you know how to put it back together.
Lmao I died when he accidentally hit the dome thingy
I am now addicted to your channel and I will check out all this amazing stuff. Thank you darling xxxx
Why is the date on the coin missing a thousand years, how does “740” translate to “1740”
I wondered the same thing!
Depends on the coin and how it was struck. Some Spanish Colonial coins were struck quickly and crudely with the edges clipped as needed to adjust the weight. The markings on such coins are often barely visible, including some or all of the date. These are called "cob" coins. Since the coins were minted during a specific reign of a Spanish monarch, a three digit date was often good enough since the Spanish Empire really only existed, more or less, from 1492 (at the end of the Reconquista). Not all that different today when we reference a date. "When did you graduate?" "07". Close enough.
As for more carefully minted coins, called "milled" coins, they are much more precisely made, with much more refined lettering, elaborate artwork, and are very uniform. Such coins usually have a 4 digit year, among other identifying marks.
Search up the missing 1000 years.
Christianity omitted it from the records
@@alexmottley8890 What do you mean
This is definitely the guy that the boss has to keep an eye on 🤣🤣🤣 unlimited desk gadgets

I like how the magnet you used was from your last puzzle solve. xD
You had me at mesmerizing desktop piece
Thanks for sharing these curio's. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR PUZZLES. Where did you buy them from?
Those last 2 are some sophisticated fidget toys, I like them :)
I actually met a guy who wore a genuine pirate doubloon around his neck that he found during his days as a fisherman. He also said he found some pieces of eight in an piece of coral he kept because he said it looked cool. Years later he broke it on accident and he found them.
That shiny blue stuff in the spinning thing is called rheoscopic fluid.
I wanted to see the last one a few more times. 😂👍
How to see the future in the third gadget?💀
Yo bro playing with Dumbledore's memories.
Yo for real haha
Bro, these are so dope that you could make a video for each of them. Double whammy, great videos, and more content for you
That spinny thing at the end was AWESOME!!! my favorite!
Last was so satisfying.
Chris literally invented the word satisfying
I need the bluey swirly thingy!
If I had these on my desk I'd never get anything done lmao
I love how everything is always so useless 😂 it’s just like my bedroom!
So Spongebob is running around somewhere without his pants?
That gold coin was made in South America by Spain, it was made to be the personal treasury of king Phillip the 2nd, since the coins were made in many different areas in South America, each set of coins, had a different size. Although each coin had the same weight, which is 27.0 ounces, if that coin is 27 ounces of gold, you could have a very valuable coin on your hands.
The last one can let you visualize magnetic fields it’s the coolest thing ever
That blue thingy is what I call "satisfying"
Me: so how do you get the doubloon out?
Chris: that's the neat part... you dont...
You might be able to figure out why Neptune has the hexagon shape at its northern Pole
That coin is 36 years older than the US. Crazy
I looked up the pirate coins, those things are expensive as hell lol
That rheoscopic fluid dome is really cool
You find some of the coolest stuff I have ever seen. Nice vid 👍
Would have been more satisfying if the last object was not broken.
I just feel like your house would be so much better than a museum or toy store!
We need the affiliate link bro
This video cured my anxiety
740 is the actual year. 1000 years has been added to our timeline to make those who did it have a legacy.
I'm surprised this guy is not a hoarder cuz he's got a lot of cool stuff
I love that blue thingy! So cool!!!
That blue dome would be fun for hours on acid
When I saw the gold coin I just hear "REAL gold dubloons" in my head, and then he pulled out a pair of square pants.
He had to of did that on purpose.
YOU HAVE THE COOLEST TOYS.
Chris you really do fine some really interesting and cool stuff cant wait to see more
When you said “1740” THAT BLOW MY MIND I was like “👁👄👁”lol
You have some of the coolest toys and puzzles.👍
I love these cool gizmo videos.🔥🔥
The blue dome has glitter in it to make it rheoscopic which means you can see the current of the liquid
SpongeBob wants his shorts back.
Bro give the coin back you’ll turn into a skeleton under the moon.
I LIKE THE PLATE THINGEE THE BANK N THE WOODEN SPIN THING.
